The Spanish Super Cup El Clasico in Saudi Arabia takes center stage in European soccer this weekend, while Napoli and Juve meet in a fierce Serie A clash. Read on for our soccer best bets from Euope's top leagues.

Spanish Giants Real Madrid and FC Barcelona are off to Saudi Arabia for the Spanish Super Cup. After Real Madrid beat Valencia on penalties in the first semifinal, FC Barcelona also made their way through to the final following a shootout win over Betis. Riyadh will host the much-anticipated El Clasico that will decide the new Super Cup champion.   

In the Italian Serie A, Napoli and Juventus clash in what might turn out to be a match to impose a new rhythm for the title battle.

Total: Lecce vs. AC Milan Over 2.5 (+100 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Goals are expected each time these two clubs meet. Milan sit third and are looking to close the gap at the top, while Lecce are in a comfortable 11th position which they would dream to consolidate by the end of the campaign. Both teams are unbeaten in their last five games, winning 11 points each in the process. Lecce’s 2022-23 version is better than predicted when the season started.

Milan must pay attention to their opponents’ counters if they are to leave Via del Mare with the three points. A punter can expect an open game with lots of events, with betting on shots, corners, or cards being a strong alternative for the Over 2.5.

Spread: Inter -2 vs. Verona (+175 via BetMGM) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Verona are tied at the bottom in the away table this season, winning just three points (three draws) from a total of eight matches. In each of their five defeats away from home, Verona conceded twice. Even in front of minnows like Salernitana and Monza, their defense couldn’t contain the opposition’s attacks.

As such, it’s hard to see them resisting Inter, who are fresh from beating Serie A leaders Napoli on January 4.

Upset: Sevilla to win vs. Girona (+200 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐

Sevilla climbed out of the relegation zone after beating Getafe on 2-1 on Sunday. However, their survival mission shouldn’t be considered terminated. Jorge Sampaoli’s men stand 17th and need to build on their triumph to avoid unpleasant surprises at the campaign’s conclusion.

Sevilla started the year in decent form, winning four points from two matches and qualifying for the Spanish Cup’s Round of 16. If there is anything to be done to save Sevilla’s season, then they must act now. And their trip to Girona might prove to be enough indication that the crisis is over at the Pizjuan.

Parlay: Empoli vs. Sampdoria Over 2.5 goals and Over 8.5 corners (+200 via BetMGM) ⭐⭐⭐

Thirteenth-placed Empoli need a win to avoid being caught from behind and pushed toward another battle to survive as we enter the second part of the season. The other teams that are expected to fight relegation from Serie A can eat popcorn and enjoy the clash, as it’s unlikely that it will be a boring one.

Sampdoria has won only nine points through 17 matches, but don’t let that fool you. This outing should be really good to watch, as neither team has much to lose and will look to do their best to get the three points. Goals, shots, corners – the more, the better for punters who have flair and a soft spot for the Italian league.
