My Everton vs. Manchester United predictions and same-game parlay highlights my favorite plays for the day as the Red Devils look to move into the top four of the Premier League table. The action from Merseyside is set to begin at 3 p.m. ET, airing on USA Network.

United has evolved into a scoring machine under Michael Carrick, hitting this mark in four of the five Prem games he's been at the helm. That's a stretch that includes tougher squads to break than Everton, like Arsenal and Manchester City.

James O'Brien will be missing from Everton's backline after being sent off with a red last game, and their recent results feature a lot of squads that don't have the attacking prowess of the Red Devils.

Leg 1: Manchester United Over 1.5 goals (-120)

🎯 Firing away: Ndiaye 2+ shots

Iliman Ndiaye has become one of Everton's offensive outlets, for as little as that actually matters.

Rather than rolling the dice on him having to hit the target (+100 for 1+ shot on target), we're going to look for him to just fire two over the course of the game for an even better price. He's fired at least one shot in every home game this season, and has had two (or more) in four of his last six at Hill Dickinson.

With Everton playing catch-up, the Segenalese forward will have to fire away.

📈 The Carrick effect: Man Utd moneyline

This play goes hand in hand with the parlay-opener, as I don't see Everton netting two to keep pace.

Under the old Amorim regime, United was embarrassed by a 10-man Everton in the reverse fixture, losing 1-0. You can bet the players will be looking to reverse that fortune.

Carrick has led his squad to four wins in his five Prem games at the helm, and they'll be eager to get back on track after drawing a West Ham squad mired in a relegation battle.

🪓Bonus: Garner's "Warm Welcome"

This play provides a shockingly large boost for a defensive midfielder who has committed two or more fouls in three of his last five games and will have his hands full handling Man United's Bruno Fernandes and Kobbie Mainoo. Garner picked up two fouls in the reverse fixture, and as a former Man Utd academy product, he'll be well primed for this matchup. Garner's price for one foul (-175) is too steep to include, but +275 to add in a second foul is excellent.
