Mikko Rantanen has picked up where he left off last season with four points through two games following his historic playoff run with the Stars.
I'm targeting him to pick up two points against a Wild team playing on the second night of a back-to-back on the road. Dallas should control the pace of play against tired Minnesota legs, and no Stars skater is better-suited to take advantage of that than Rantanen.
Among the best sports betting sites, DraftKings has the best odds at +165. Those translate to an implied probability of 37.74%, per our odds calculator. A $10 bet would win $16.50 if Rantanen comes through for us.

Wild forward Matt Boldy has gotten off to an incredible start alongside linemate Kirill Kaprizov, with his seven points through three games ranking third-best in the league.
Although I believe in Boldy's breakout this season, he is due for regression (1.6 goals above expected). He has a tough matchup tonight against Stars netminder Jake Oettinger, who is rested and has only allowed an average of 1.99 goals in his last five games against Minnesota.
BetMGM has the best odds (+150), giving Boldy a 40% chance of being held off the score sheet. If he is, a $10 wager nets a $15 profit.

Unsurprisingly, Jason Robertson leads the Stars in shots and goals again. It's a miniscule sample size thus far (two games), but he's led Dallas in both categories in three of the last four seasons.
And he's generating consistently great opportunities for himself: his 0.8 goals below expected tell us his current play should have resulted in three scores rather than the two he has on his ledger thus far. Back Robertson to find the back of the net against a division rival tonight.
