Two Atlantic Division opponents are set to play this afternoon, with my best Lightning vs. Bruins player props spotlighting hidden value on both teams.
Tampa Bay is a -164 betting favorite against Boston, despite sitting 0-2. The Bruins boast a 3-0 record but are home underdogs on the moneyline at +136. Puck drop is set early for 1 p.m. ET at TD Garden in Boston (NHL Network). My NHL picks target one of Boston’s most productive players and fade two players for Tampa Bay.

💰 Best player prop bets for Lightning vs. Bruins
Our NHL player prop odds tool shows the best odds for every market across legal sportsbooks in your area.
⬆️ Elias Lindholm Over 0.5 points (-125) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Boston has had a ton of production on the ice from Elias Lindholm during the team’s 3-0 start this season. The 30-year-old is tied with David Pastrnak for the most points (four), including at least one point per game.
Now, Lindholm faces Lightning goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy, who has allowed nine total goals across two starts. Lindholm’s presence alongside Pastrnak on the Bruins’ first line and top power play unit affords him great opportunities to finish possessions by contributing to a goal.
At -125 odds, we’re getting a decent price on Lindholm to extend his point streak at home on Monday against the Lightning. A $10 winning bet yields an $8 profit, with an implied win probability of 55.56%.
⬇️ Victor Hedman Under 1.5 shots on goal (+125) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Tampa Bay’s veteran defenseman, Victor Hedman, has not shown up in the stat sheet much for points and shots through the team’s first two games. Hedman is coming off a two-assist outing during a 5-4 loss to Ottawa, but logged only one shot on goal.
Hedman finished with one shot on goal in both of Tampa Bay’s matchups. Despite skating on the top defensive pairing and primary power play unit for the Lightning, Hedman is more of a facilitator than an aggressor right now.
At BetMGM, Hedman’s total shots on goal prop is set to 1.5, with +125 odds on Under 1.5 shots on goal. This means a $10 winning bet nets $12.50 profit with a 44.44% implied probability.
⬇️ Anthony Cirelli Under 0.5 points (-165) ⭐⭐⭐
At some point, Anthony Cirelli’s point drought will snap. It’s tough to foresee today against Boston goaltender Jeremy Swayman, who has surrendered two total goals through two starts this season.
Cirelli centers Tampa Bay’s second line and second power play unit. He’s also notched four shots on goal, which is third-most on the team. In fact, Cirelli is one of only two players on the Lightning without a point and at least two shots on goal.
The best line on Cirelli’s total points player prop is available at BetMGM. A winning $10 bet returns $6.06 profit, which is an implied probability of 62.26%
