🚨 Miro Heiskanen Over 1.5 Shots ⭐⭐⭐⭐
It hasn’t taken Heiskanen long to re-establish himself as a scoring threat on the Stars’ blue line. He recorded an assist in Game 4 - his first game back from knee surgery that sidelined him for more than three months - and hit the crossbar in Game 5.
Heiskanen, who led Dallas defensemen in playoff scoring the past two years with 28 points in 38 games, has also attempted eight shots in the two games he’s played in this series, hitting the net four times on Thursday.
As Heiskanen’s ice time continues to ramp up (he played more than 18 minutes in Game 5, up from 14 minutes in Game 4), expect him to continue generating chances.

🚨 Gabriel Vilardi Over 0.5 Points ⭐⭐
Vilardi has recorded just two points in his last eight games, but those numbers are due to improve. He’s had at least two shots on net in nine straight outings and attempted at least four shots in six of his last seven. This has generated 2.6 expected goals in this series.
He’s also still getting a long rope from Winnipeg coach Scott Arniel, who gave Vilardi 18 minutes of ice time in Game 5. Arniel has twice played the winger for more than 20 minutes in this series, with some time coming on Winnipeg’s powerplay unit that led the league during the regular season and produced two goals on Thursday.
With bet365 offering even odds and both BetMGM and DraftKings offering -105, the price is right to back Vilardi to return to the scoresheet tonight. Over 2.5 shots is another appealing way to bet on Vilardi, with Caesars, DraftKings, and bet365 all paying +145 or better on that prop.

🚨 Mikko Rantanen Over 2.5 Shots ⭐⭐⭐
There’s no way that Rantanen could continue on the pace that saw him record 18 points in a seven-game stretch, so it shouldn’t be alarming to see him held pointless in two of his last four games.
None of the other Stars had points in those games, either, meaning Rantanen has still factored in on 18 of the last 23 goals Dallas has scored in these playoffs. He’s also continuing to get plenty of chances, recording four of the Stars’ 22 shots on goal in Game 5 and attempting 16 shots in his last three outings.
With the Stars back at home where they’ve potted 23 goals in six games (compared to just nine in six on the road), Rantanen is poised for another productive evening.
Rather than pay close to -300 juice on him to record a point, I’ll back him to record at least two shots on net, although Over 0.5 goals (+145 at FanDuel) and Over 0.5 assists (-120 at BetMGM) are other options to consider.
