He's been firing the puck a lot recently as well. Since tallying back-to-back games with just two shots, Kucherov has gone Over 3.5 shots on goal in 10 straight games, with a total of 55 shots in that span.

Columbus Blue Jackets forward Cole Perfetti is off to a great start in 2023. He's already tallied 14 points over 17 games after putting up 30 points in 51 contests during 2022-23.

The young winger's eight-game point streak came to an end against the Arizona Coyotes, but he should get right back at it in Tampa Bay. Perfetti plays on the second line and top power-play unit with some talented linemates.

Hurricanes ML vs. Oilers (-142 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is a fantastic spot for the Hurricanes.

Carolina is 5-1-0 at home, while the disappointing Oilers are just 2-7-0 away from home in 2023-24. Edmonton has already lost in Tampa Bay (6-4) and Florida (5-3) on this road trip, and it’s not going to get any easier against the Canes.

The Hurricanes have endured a few defeats of their own recently, but they’re still 4-3-0 across their last seven games following a three-game winning streak.

While both teams are near the top of the league in expected goals for percentage, Carolina is much more sound defensively and in net. Edmonton struggles to keep the puck out of the net, and the Hurricanes are thriving off that right now.

Take the better team at home. This line should continue to move, as -142 is the best on the board right now at DraftKings, while Carolina is as high as -148 elsewhere.

Devils vs. Red Wings Over 6.5 (-122 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

We should be in for a doozy here when the Devils battle the Red Wings in Detroit. These are two of the most-profitable squads in 2023-24 in terms of betting the Over.

The Devils have gone over the total in 13 of their 16 games, while the Red Wings aren't too far behind (11 of 17 contests). Both teams score at a high rate, but the clubs also allow goals quite regularly, too.

On average, the Devils have been outscored 3.81 to 3.69 in their 16 games, while the Red Wings have been outscoring their opponents 3.59 to 3.35.
