🤑 SBR Edge: Ducks vs. Oilers prediction for Game 2

Are we really seeing the Ducks as +155 underdogs after they nearly stole Game 1 in hostile territory? I'll take it. My Ducks vs. Oilers prediction sees Anaheim's young core bouncing back from a heartbreaking 4-3 loss to even the series. While Edmonton got a boost from Leon Draisaitl's return, the Ducks dominated large stretches of the second period and proved they belong in this series. Let's dive in and build that bankroll.

šŸ† Who will win Game 2 between Ducks vs. Oilers?

I'm leaning toward the Ducks pulling off a revenge win in Game 2. Edmonton may have taken the series opener, but they needed a desperate two-goal rally (with Radko Gudas eating ice to help) in the final nine minutes to survive. Leo Carlsson was a standout in Game 1 (as he's been all season long for the upstart Ducks), showing elite vision while helping Anaheim dominate the second period.

With the Oilers missing Adam Henrique, their depth will be tested against a potent Ducks top-six. Anaheim did a fantastic job shutting down Connor McDavid in Game 1 - let's see them replicate that.

Score prediction: Ducks 4, Oilers 2 (+2700)

šŸ’° Ducks vs. Oilers player prop bet for Game 2

Leo Carlsson Over 0.5 points (-130)

The 2023 second overall pick has officially arrived. Carlsson looked like the best player on the ice for stretches of Game 1, finishing with a goal and an assist with an incredible 10 shots on goal. With that type of volume, as well as him in the top 10 for high-danger xGoals for the playoffs, Carlsson is the most reliable bet to find and stuff the score sheet for Anaheim tonight.

📈 More Ducks vs. Oilers player props

I'm dabbling in Carlsson to score as well tonight (+210). Elsewhere, while McDavid was held scoreless in Game 1, I'm more than happy to drop a half-unit on him to also find the back of the net (+100). Remember to always keep bankroll management front of mine.

šŸš€ Ducks vs. Oilers same-game parlay

I have the Ducks winning 4-2 tonight. If the Ducks score four, you better believe Leo is scoring at least one.

šŸ’” How I'm betting Ducks vs. Oilers

Follow all of our NHL analysis and expert predictions this season.

I think you can take one look at the Game 1 shot heat maps and understand why the Ducks at +155 is the value play. Anaheim generated more high-danger chances (and expected goals) at five-on-five than Edmonton did. I’m putting a unit on the moneyline and focusing my top play on Carlsson continuing his breakout postseason.

Remember to always slide your wagers based on confidence and research, and to stay disciplined when it comes to bankroll management.
