This has truly been the year of the wide receiver, with the first two weeks of the 2022 NFL season featuring highlight-reel catches all over the NFL.

Throwing the ball has been the name of the game when it comes to touchdown scoring so far. Ten different teams have thrown for four or more passing touchdowns, whereas only two teams have four or more rushing touchdowns. Who will catch the touchdowns this week?

Here is our top wide receiver prop bet picks for NFL Week 3 (odds via DraftKings Sportsbook).

NFL Week 1 Wide Receiver Prop Picks

  • Davis Over 51.5 Receiving Yards (-115 via DraftKings) ★★★★★
  • Wilson Over 4.5 Total Receptions (+120 via DraftKings) ★★★★★
  • Waddle To Score An Anytime Touchdown (+145 via DraftKings) ★★★★

Receiving Yards Prop Pick

Davis Over 51.5 Receiving Yards (-115) ★★★★★

Gabriel Davis came into this season in the good books of Buffalo Bills fans, who won’t soon forget his 201-yard, four-touchdown performance against the Kansas City Chiefs in last year’s playoffs. Week 1 was a continuation of that excellence, as Davis recorded 88 receiving yards and a touchdown during the first primetime game of the season. Unfortunately, he was held out in Week 2 due to injury.

Davis’ usage fluctuated a lot last year, but this time around is much different. The departure of other key wideouts, and his emergence as a legitimate number-two weapon in one of the NFL’s premier offenses, all but ensure that he will hit this prop with ease as long as he’s healthy.

Total Receptions Prop Pick

Wilson Over 4.5 Total Receptions (+120) ★★★★★

Expectations for Garrett Wilson were tempered once starting quarterback Zach Wilson went down ahead of the season with injury. Fortunately, the wideout Wilson hasn’t missed a beat with 12 receptions on 22 targets for 154 yards and a touchdown. All while catching passes from oft-mediocre veteran QB Joe Flacco.

With a target share this high, and that level of talent, it’s almost surprising to see the Over on Wilson’s total receptions prop as a positive figure. He should have no problem smashing this prop, especially against a Cincinnati Bengals defense that has struggled to stop much of anything this season.

Anytime Touchdown Scorer Prop Pick

Waddle To Score Anytime Touchdown (+145) ★★★★

Last week’s tilt against the Baltimore Ravens was a true statement game for the now 2-0 Miami Dolphins. Dolphins’ quarterback Tua Tagovailoa made several big plays, including two touchdowns to his favorite wideout Jaylen Waddle.

In fact, Tua has thrown at least one touchdown to Waddle in five of his last seven games dating back to last season. These two have had a special connection ever since their days at Alabama, and it’s certainly one worth betting on with such favorable odds.
