For the first time since his injury on national television, Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa will start under center. He is hoping to stop his team’s three-game losing streak that occurred during his absence.

The Pittsburgh Steelers will start rookie Kenny Pickett as their signal caller despite the fact he left last week’s game with a concussion. Pickett has cleared protocols and will make the start Sunday night.

Here are our top Sunday Night Football prop picks (odds via DraftKings Sportsbook, FanDuel Sportsbook, BetMGM).

Top Sunday Night Football Prop Predictions

Pickett Under 230.5 passing yards (-114)

Pickett has had a rocky start at the helm of the Steelers offense. His three career games have resulted in three vastly different results. His first action against the N.Y. Jets yielded 120 yards on 13 attempts and 10 completions. In his first official start, he threw for 327 yards against the Buffalo Bills completing 34 of his 54 pass attempts. Last week, he finished the first half of his game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and connected on 11 of his 18 pass attempts for only 67 yards before exiting with a concussion.

He does have a favorable matchup this week against a Dolphins defense that is allowing an average of 256.7 passing yards per game.

Hill, Johnson Over 152.5 total receiving yards (-105)

Miami’s newest offensive weapon has blown past this mark by himself three times this season. Last week, Tyreek Hill and his backup quarterback Teddy Bridgewater sliced the Minnesota Vikings for 177 yards on 12 receptions. With Tagovailoa under center in Week 2, he racked up 190 yards against the Baltimore Ravens. Tagovailoa returns to the lineup this week which boosts Hill’s ability to cover his half of this total. Pittsburgh has allowed at least one receiver to top 100 yards in four of its six games this season.

Johnson has averaged just over 49 yards per game to start the season which could leave Hill shouldering most of the burden here. The Steelers’ leading wideout has yet to record a 100-yard game. His highest output came in Week 3 in which he caught eight passes for 84 yards against the Cleveland Browns.

Boswell Over 5.5 kicking points (-115)

Chris Boswell currently ranks as Pittsburgh’s leading scorer. His 41 points are more than double that of the 18 running back Najee Harris has amassed this season. The Steelers’ kicker is averaging 6.8 points per game. He has topped this total in three out of his six games this year.

The last time the Steelers took on Miami was in October of 2019. In that game, Bowell accounted for nine points including two field goals and three extra points.

The Dolphins have surrendered at least six points to opposing kickers three times this season. In total, they have given up six field goals and 17 extra points. Miami is allowing an average of 5.8 points per game to the kicking position.
