We've got some great prop picks for the Sunday Night Football battle between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Los Angeles Chargers at SoFi Stadium.

The Steelers haven’t lost since October 3 when they fell by 10 to the Green Bay Packers, one of the best teams in football. Despite four straight wins and a tie, the oddsmakers still refuse to respect Pittsburgh, who hasn’t lost but also lacks a real quality win in the last five games.

Pittsburgh will be without Joe Haden and T.J. Watt on defense, making life tougher on this team. They will have Chase Claypool back, however. In the end, conditions should be right for some scoring. The Chargers will be looking to bounce back after a seven-point loss to the Minnesota Vikings last week.

Here are my top prop picks for the Sunday Night Football matchup between the Steelers and the Chargers (odds via DraftKings Sportsbook; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Top Sunday Night Football Prop Picks

Ben Roethlisberger Under 236.5 yards (-115) ???Chris Boswell Over 1.5 Field Goals (+100) ????Pat Freirmuth Over 3.5 receptions (-135) ????

Sunday Night Football Prop Bets

Ben Roethlisberger Under 236.5 yards (-115)

There’s a reason opponents have thrown on the Chargers at the lowest rate in football. That’s because their secondary is elite.

Los Angeles has allowed just 206 yards per game through the air. On the other side of the coin, their rushing defense ranks dead last in football allowing 155.1 ypg. It would make perfect sense for Pittsburgh to pound the rock with Najee Harris and take the ball out of Roethlisberger’s hands.

Roethlisberger has been very bad this year and is coming off a 205-yard performance against Chicago. He has had less than 34 times or fewer in three of the last five games now. I just don’t think the recipe is there for a big passing game for Big Ben.

Chris Boswell Over 1.5 Field Goals (+100)

The Chargers have given up more than one field goal in four of their last five games, and the Steelers have been one of the best around at converting. They rank second in the NFL in field goal conversion rate at nearly 95 percent, and Chris Boswell has averaged exactly two field goals on just over two attempts per game.

I think we can expect Boswell to be leaned upon here given the matchup and I do think he’ll convert whenever called upon. This is a nice price.

Pat Freirmuth over 3.5 receptions (-135)

To me, this is the ultimate buy-low spot on Friermuth. He had some bad drops in Week 10 against the Lions, but that game was not only played with backup quarterback Mason Rudolph, it came in a heavy downpour.

With Roethlisberger back and some better conditions for passing, I think Freirmuth should shatter this total. He has commanded 7.3 targets per game over the last four contests and he’s hit the over 3.5 in each of those games — only one time with less than five catches.

I think this guy is legit, and he should be given enough targets for this to convert again.
