The New York Giants have unexpectedly surged to begin the 2022 season, but a matchup against the Baltimore Ravens is a significant test. Here are our top Ravens-Giants picks.
Defense has been the story out of East Rutherford in the early going of this season, as an astute defense has propelled the New York Giants to an unlikely 4-1 record under new head coach Brian Daboll.
Their offense has been adequate for now and a game against the Baltimore Ravens’ porous air defense could be just what the doctor ordered. On the other side of the coin, Baltimore has been racking up points and touchdowns against just about everyone. Will it be enough to pull off a win?
Here are our top Ravens-Giants NFL picks for Week 6 (odds via Caesars Sportsbook, FanDuel Sportsbook; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Ravens vs. Giants Odds Analysis
The Over/Under market opened at 44 before rising to its current total of 46.5, with 74% of the tickets and 76% of the handle backing the Over.
The Ravens opened as 6-point favorites, but the spread has since dipped to 5.5. Oddly enough, most of the major sportsbooks have kept the 6-point total, including DraftKings, FanDuel, and BetRivers. Ravens vs. Giants ATS Pick
Ravens -5.5 (-110) ★★★★★
The Ravens offense has been firing on all cylinders since Week 1, but the defense hasn’t been following suit. The unit has been somewhat decent at stopping opponents on the ground, only allowing 540 rushing yards through five games.
On the other hand, opponents have also managed to score five rushing touchdowns. Baltimore’s defense has been torched through the air to the tune of nine passing touchdowns on 1,451 opposition passing yards as well.
The Giants may have the better record, but they’ve also had a much easier schedule. This game could very well be close, but the Ravens are still a tier above New York and should be able to win by at least a touchdown – despite their defensive woes.
Ravens vs. Giants O/U Pick
Over 44.5 (-110) ★★★★★
The Giants have typically been in low-scoring games so far, which is likely why they have four wins through five matches while only averaging 20.6 points per game. The Ravens have been the exact opposite, playing a feast-or-famine style resulting in 27.6 ppg – good for fourth best in the NFL.
Baltimore has also allowed nearly 2,000 scrimmage yards and 14 touchdowns to its opponents so far, which is good news for a team that needs to score more like the Giants. The Ravens will have no problem pulling their weight and their defensive ineptitude should help New York in doing its fair share toward hitting the Over.
Ravens vs. Giants Prop Pick
Slayton anytime touchdown scorer (+310) ★★★★
The Giants receiving corps has been a medical nightmare this season, with several wideouts going down due to injury, including a season-ending ACL tear to Sterling Shepard. As such, Darius Slayton was leaned upon during last week’s win over the Green Bay Packers.
His snap count should continue to rise and he was efficient by converting seven targets into six receptions for 79 yards. With the Ravens’ defense focused on covering Giants star back Saquon Barkley and its inability to stop the throw, Slayton is a prime candidate to find pay dirt through the air.
