NFL OROY Odds After Week 4: Dart Hits Bullseye; Jeanty Joins Egbuka as Co-Favorite

Jaxson Dart won his first career NFL start in Week 4, though Ashton Jeanty and Emeka Egbuka still lead the Offensive Rookie of the Year odds.

Sunday's Week 4 games represented the most compelling day thus far in the NFL schedule, with all five betting favorites by the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year odds enjoying their best day as a pro.

New York Giants' QB Jaxson Dart headlined those show-stopping performances, with the rookie signal caller leading his team to an improbable upset win over the now 3-1 Los Angeles Chargers in his regular-season debut.

Ashton Jeanty, Emeka Egbuka, Omarion Hampton, and Tyler Warren followed suit, making the OROY race the most exciting of the individual awards. Here's a look at the latest OROY odds and how we'd approach our NFL picks:

Latest NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year odds for the 2025 season; NFL odds update in real time.

📈 Key takeaways from Week 4

  • Jaxson Dart, who opened at +2500, saw his odds improved to +800 after leading the Giants to their first win of the season
  • Emeka Egbuka saw his odds shorten, albeit marginally, from +325 to +250 after his most productive outing as a pro
  • Ashton Jeanty has officially arrived as the preseason OROY odds favorite has joined Egbuka atop the leaderboard (+250), thanks to a monstrous 138 yards on the ground
  • Like Jeanty, Omarion Hampton enjoyed a breakout day (128 yards on 12 carries) in the loss to the New York Giants and is receiving the third-shortest OROY odds (+470)
  • Indianapolis Colts tight end Tyler Warren is just behind Dart at +900 after a 70-yard day in Week 4
  • Cleveland Browns running back Quinshon Judkins is the only other rookie receiving odds of 10/1 or shorter

🗽 Jaxson Dart accomplishes rare feat in debut

In one impressive fell swoop, Dart inserted himself among the lead pack via the OROY odds. And it came against Justin Herbert, who was the NFL's Week 3 sensation.

Finishing with one TD pass and 111 passing yards, Dart's aerial numbers don't exactly jump off the page. However, Dart executed the game plan as well as could be asked of any veteran - let alone a fresh-faced rookie - making decisions with equal measures poise and conviction.

He didn't hesitate in using his legs, rushing for 54 yards on 10 carries, including a 9-yard TD run that opened the scoring.

Since 2020, rookie signal callers are 1-10 in their Week 1 debut. While Dart's first game occurred in Week 4, that stat shows the degree of difficulty in winning the opener as a pro. The Chicago Bears' Caleb Williams is the only winner of that 11-game collection.

He also became the first QB in 23 years to win his first career start against a 3-0 team. We hadn't seen that since St. Louis Rams QB Marc Bulger beat the Oakland Raiders in 2002.

Granted, Dart's opening performance represents a minute sample size, but based on the woeful track record of rookie QB counterparts in debut outings, it might be prudent to jump on his +750 odds. Those odds imply an 11.76% win probability.

🏴‍☠️ Ashton Jeanty has officially arrived

While nobody will mistake the Chicago Bears defense for an elite unit, take nothing away from Jeanty's breakout performance. In his first three games as a pro, he accumulated 144 rushing yards and one score.

Against the Bears, Jeanty explodes for 138 rushing yards on 21 carries. That's six yards fewer than the first three games combined. Not only did he average 6.6 yards per carry, more than double his season average of 3.1, but he also hit pay dirt three times (one rushing, two receiving).

It was the type of splash everyone expected from Jeanty after being drafted by the Raiders with the sixth overall pick. And it pushed his odds (+250) alongside Egbuka as the OROY odds co-favorite.

⛵️ Emeka Egbuka enjoys best day as a pro

Egbuka, the OROY odds co-favorite (+250), also enjoyed his best day in his burgeoning career, amassing 101 receiving yards and a touchdown on four receptions. He averaged 25.3 yards per catch and scored on a 77-yard catch and run against the Super Bowl odds favorite, the Philadelphia Eagles.

The 22-year-old has 282 receiving yards in four games, the most of any rookie. And without Mike Evans in the lineup, he will almost certainly accumulate yards faster than the other first-year receivers - Warren and Tetairoa McMillan are also in that conversation.

Egbuka entered Week 4 as the NFL OROY odds favorite, but now shares co-favorite status after Jeanty's show-stopping outing in Sin City. Egbuka's +250 odds at FanDuel imply a 28.57% win probability, and a winning $10 bet would yield a $25 profit.
