My best Giants vs. Cowboys player props are centered around New York’s offensive line issues from a week ago, while Dallas continues to show improvements that nearly earned them a massive Week 1 upset over the defending Super Bowl champions. Kickoff from AT&T Stadium in Arlington on Sunday is set for 1 p.m. ET (FOX).

Be sure to catch the plethora of full breakdowns for all the weekend’s matchups as part of our NFL predictions for Week 2.

⬇️ Russell Wilson Over 14.5 rushing yards (-110) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Russell Wilson completed just 45.9% of his passes last week (sixth-worst mark of his career), and that was a direct result of the constant duress he was under all game.

Micah Parsons may no longer be on the roster, but the Cowboys still pressured Jalen Hurts on 42.4% of dropbacks last week (fourth-highest pressure rate) despite blitzing at the 23rd-highest rate. But Hurts was able to escape that pressure often, and rushed for 62 yards (and two touchdowns) on 14 carries.

Wilson scrambled his way to 44 yards rushing on eight carries last week, and should be in enough zone-read situations where he is escaping the pocket to exceed this projected total.

This line has lowered from 16.5 earlier in the week, but I am still making this a four-star play at this lower number. The 14.5 is still better than the 15.5 available on the high end of the market, and a $10 winning wager at the 52.38% implied probability would net $9.09 in profits.

🔥 Malik Nabers anytime touchdown scorer (+155) ⭐⭐⭐

Malik Nabers failed to score a touchdown in both of his games against the Cowboys in his rookie season, but still put up monster numbers.

Nabers saw 13-plus targets in both games, and averaged 10 receptions for 92 yards. His 12 targets in Week 1 were the sixth-most among wide receivers, and New York’s struggles in goal-to-go scenarios should make them more inclined to air the ball out sooner in drives.

The Giants ran 11 plays inside the Washington Commanders’ 10-yard line last week, and netted six total yards and three points. They also rank dead-last in the NFL in EPA per play inside the three-yard line over the last three seasons.

All of this means New York should run less when in close, and Nabers should see positive regression from all of the targets he receives in what should again be a favorable matchup.

The value at bet365 for this wager is phenomenal compared to the +125 odds and 44.44% implied probability on the other end of the market. At +155 odds, a $10 wager if Nabers finds the end zone would pay out $15.50 in profits.

⬆️ Dak Prescott Over 1.5 passing touchdowns (-132) ⭐⭐⭐

Few players love matchups with the Giants more than Dak Prescott, as the Cowboys have won each of the last 13 head-to-head meetings with him under center.

Prescott conceded two goal-line opportunities to running back Javonte Williams, who scored the team’s only two touchdowns on one-yard plunges a week ago. But Prescott still led the NFL in passing touchdowns (36) in his last full season played in 2023.

The ceiling is high for his passing touchdown total this week after Dallas converted a league-best 63.7% of its third-down opportunities in the season opener. Prescott also ranked fourth among all quarterbacks in PFF’s big-time throw rate in Week 1, so I expect the Cowboys coaching staff will let him air it out more this week.

Prescott has as high as a 61.24% implied probability through FanDuel’s -158 odds to throw for multiple touchdowns. I am headed to DraftKings for the best price, where a $10 winning wager at -132 odds would net $7.58 in profits.

How do NFL player props work?

Player props are wagers on individual performances rather than the outcome of the game. Common props include passing yards, rushing yards, receiving yards, and touchdown scorers. For example, if a QB’s passing yards line is set at 250.5, you can bet the Over (251-plus yards) or Under (250 or fewer yards). You can also bet on if a specific player will score a touchdown in the entire game, the first or last touchdown, and more NFL odds markets.
