Giants vs Seahawks Odds Analysis
New York has been good to bettors so far this year, covering six of its first seven games, so it’s no surprise to see the G-Men were on 61% of the tickets in early betting action.
However, the line quickly swung to Seattle from an opener of Seahawks -1, sitting at a field goal as of Thursday night.
Two-thirds of action on the total has supported the Over, which climbed to 44.5 from 43, but nearly 80% of the handle has backed the Under.

Giants vs. Seahawks ATS Pick
Seahawks -3 (-110) ★★★★★
Everyone keeps waiting for the bubble to burst on Geno Smith and the Seahawks, but it's only growing bigger. Seattle scored 30-plus points last week for the third time in four games, blowing out the Chargers 37-23 in L.A. as Smith went an efficient 20-of-27 for 210 yards and two touchdowns. On the year, the New York Jets castoff now has 11 touchdown passes to just three interceptions, quite the improvement from his 34:37 ratio coming into the year.
New York’s success this year has been an even bigger surprise, as five of the Giants’ six victories have come in the underdog role, including last week’s 23-17 win at Jacksonville.
However, this looks like a really tough spot for the Giants as they travel to the Pacific Northwest for their second straight road game and third in four weeks. They’re also dealing with injuries to several receivers and other key players on offense, and head coach Brian Daboll may choose to play it safe by sitting several of them with a bye week on deck.
Giants vs. Seahawks O/U Pick
Under 44.5 (-110) ★★★
At first glance, this total might look a bit low for a Seattle team that has played in games with at least 60 points scored in three of its last four games and 50-plus in four of five. But lost in those high-scoring affairs has been the recent improvement of Seattle’s defense, which didn’t allow a TD two weeks ago and then held the Chargers to just 329 total yards last week.
The Giants certainly don’t want to turn this into a track meet, and their ability to run the ball can help keep Seattle’s offense off the field. Both Daniel Jones and Saquon Barkley cracked the century mark on the ground last week for New York’s rushing attack, which ranks second in the NFL, averaging more than 173 yards per contest.
Seattle’s passing game could also be without a couple of its bigger pieces against the Giants. Star receiver DK Metcalf missed the final three quarters of last week’s game in L.A., while Tyler Lockett is dealing with a hamstring injury.
Giants vs Seahawks Prop Pick
Seahawks first half -1.5 (-110) ★★★★
A big reason for Seattle’s success this year has been the Seahawks’ fast starts. Seattle has held a halftime lead in five straight games and six of its seven this season. In fact, going back to last year, the Seahawks have covered the first-half spread in 10 of their last 11.
Meanwhile, New York has had to rally from behind in each of its last three victories and is just 3-3-1 ATS in first halves on the year, compared to 6-1 ATS in full games.
