Cowboys vs. Broncos Player Prop Bets: Best Week 8 Player Props & TD Predictions

My Cowboys vs. Broncos player props expect Dallas to have the edge through the air against a stingy Denver defense.

It’s a strength vs. strength matchup as Dallas’ top-ranked total offense meets Denver’s third-ranked total defense, and I break down how I see it playing out with my Cowboys vs. Broncos player prop bets

The Broncos are a 3.5-point betting favorite in this home game from Empower Field at Mile High, which kicks off at 4:25 p.m. ET on Sunday afternoon (CBS).

My NFL picks double down on Dallas’ aerial attack, including Dak Prescott’s passing touchdowns total and a Cowboys anytime touchdown scorer wager. My NFL predictions for Week 8 also back a Broncos receiver to expose a weak Dallas secondary.

💰 Best Cowboys vs. Broncos player props

⬆️ Dak Prescott Over 1.5 passing touchdowns (-130) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Something has to give in this matchup, as Dak Prescott is second in the NFL in passing touchdowns (16), and 14 total touchdowns with no giveaways in the last four games. He faces a Broncos defense that has allowed seven passing touchdowns, tied for the second-fewest in the NFL.

I am giving the edge to Prescott, given how impressive he has been without the services of CeeDee Lamb for multiple weeks. But with Lamb and Pickens together on the field this season, Prescott has completed an eye-popping 71% of his passes for 7.3 yards per attempt, a 5-1 touchdown-to-interception ratio, and an 82 QBR.

Prescott’s implied probability to cash this Over is as high as 59.02% through DraftKings’ -144 odds. But the best return is through FanDuel’s -130 odds, where a $10 winning wager would net $7.69 in profits.

⬆️ Courtland Sutton Over 59.5 receiving yards (-118) ⭐⭐⭐

Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton has at least five receptions and 80 or more receiving yards in four of the last five games. He is sure to be a focal point in the red zone, as Dallas allows the most touchdowns to wide receivers who line up out wide, and only six players line up wide more than Sutton.

I’ve found a player whose anytime touchdown prop returns a batter value, so I am backing the Over on Sutton’s receiving yards with a three-star play. He enters the week tied for 10th in receiving yards, and the fact that this is just the third game Denver is playing with a total in the 50s in the last five years suggests Sutton should add to the fireworks.

This line has ticked up to 60.5 at every other top sports betting site, so I am laying down my $10 wager at BetMGM before it aligns with the rest of the market. The -118 odds carry a 54.13% implied probability, and would return $8.47 in profits on my $10 investment.

6️⃣ Best touchdown scorer prediction for Cowboys vs. Broncos

🔥 Jake Ferguson to score a touchdown (+190) ⭐⭐⭐

Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson has been a huge beneficiary of Dak Prescott’s high passing touchdown total. He has six receiving touchdowns through Week 7, which nearly matches his seven total touchdowns over the previous three seasons.

Ferguson has over an 87% catch rate off a 22% target share, and the Broncos have allowed the eighth-most yards per target to tight ends in the last four weeks.

The yardage should also be there for Ferguson, as Denver has allowed 369 receiving yards to tight ends, and slid to eighth in defensive DVOA. I am backing Ferguson to score on National Tight Ends Day with a $10 wager, which would net $19 in profits through bet365’s +190 odds.
