My best Cowboys vs. Bears player props focus on CeeDee Lamb, Dak Prescott, and Rome Odunze ahead of Sunday’s kickoff at 4:25 p.m. ET (FOX) from Soldier Field in Chicago. The Cowboys covering as 1 or 1.5-point favorites is one of the most popular NFL picks of Week 3, as 72% of bettors are backing them.

Below, I explain why CeeDee Lamb will finally find the end zone in this game. I also make picks for Dak Prescott and Rome Odunze as part of my best NFL predictions for Week 3.

The Cowboys have scored six touchdowns this season, but Lamb hasn’t scored any. Still, he has 16 catches for 222 yards, and he gets a juicy matchup against a Bears defense that just allowed Amon-Ra St. Brown to score three touchdowns.

The Bears haven’t done a good job covering top receivers, as Justin Jefferson caught four passes for 44 yards and a touchdown in a game where his quarterback threw for just 143 yards. Lamb only scored six touchdowns last season, and because of his slow start, we’re getting a great price (+100 via bet365) for him to score in this game.

This is a player who had 12 touchdown receptions two years ago and now faces a defense that has allowed seven passing touchdowns this year. The price of +100 available at bet365 implies a 50% chance that Lamb scores. A $10 bet would pay $10.

⬆️ Dak Prescott longest pass completion Over 37.5 yards (-112) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Prescott’s longest pass of the season is just 33 yards, but the Bears have allowed seven passes of at least 20 yards and two passes of at least 40 yards this season. Last week, Jameson Williams burned the Bears twice for receptions of 64 and 44 yards.

Though the Bears didn’t give up a pass greater than 30 yards in Week 1, they allowed JJ McCarthy to complete two passes of at least 27 yards. This is a defense susceptible to big plays, so even though Prescott only has five completions of 20 or more yards this season, the price and yardage total for this prop haven’t caught up to reflect how good this matchup is.

The price of -112 from FanDuel suggests a 52.83% chance Prescott hits this Over. a $10 bet would pay $8.93.

⬆️ Rome Odunze Over 61.5 receiving yards (-114) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

In Week 1, Odunze caught six passes but only managed 37 yards. He followed up that performance with a huge seven-catch, 128-yard, two-touchdown game against the Lions.

After giving up 450 passing yards to Russell Wilson last week, the Cowboys enter Week 3 allowing the third-most passing yards in the league. And though they shut down AJ Brown in Week 1, they gave up nine catches for 167 yards and two touchdowns to Malik Nabers last week.

Odunze has eight more targets than any other Bears’ player, so he’s clearly Caleb Williams’ favorite target. In a great matchup, take advantage of this low total. The price of -114 at FanDuel implies a 52.83% chance he hits this Over. A $10 bet would pay $8.77.

How do NFL player props work?

Player props are wagers on individual performances rather than the outcome of the game. Common props include passing yards, rushing yards, receiving yards, and touchdown scorers. For example, if a QB’s passing yards line is set at 250.5, you can bet the Over (251-plus yards) or Under (250 or fewer yards). You can also bet on if a specific player will score a touchdown in the entire game, the first or last touchdown, and more NFL odds markets.
