💰 Best Suns vs. Nuggets player prop picks

⬆️ Nikola Jokic Over 11.5 rebounds (-130) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Nikola Jokic started strong on the boards this season, hauling in 13 rebounds in the Nuggets’ marathon opener against the Golden State Warriors.

The star big man has been trending up as a rebounder for several seasons now and just recorded a career-high 12.7 boards per game a season ago. Jokic got to at least 12 boards on 52 occasions, including a 21-rebound showing against Phoenix.

The Suns have the former Charlotte Hornets center duo of Mark Williams and Nick Richards on board, but both have come off the bench in the first two games.

Jokic should have a distinct advantage over the more inexperienced Oso Ighodaro, and if Phoenix’s shooting struggles from Friday night against the Los Angeles Clippers carry over, the Joker should have plenty of opportunities on the defensive glass.

At -130 odds on BetMGM, the bet has a 56.5% implied probability of hitting, while a $10 bet would net $7.69 in profit.

⬆️ Aaron Gordon Over 15.5 points (-120) ⭐⭐⭐

We can safely label Aaron Gordon’s 50-point outburst against the Warriors on Opening Night as an outlier, but it wouldn’t be inaccurate to say the versatile forward was already trending up offensively over the last several weeks of the Nuggets’ regular-season and postseason journey.

Gordon averaged 17.6 points per game over the last 17 contests he played, and he has recorded at least 16 points on 26 occasions overall.

The Suns have allowed an NBA-high 54.8% shooting over their first two games, and Denver is projected to score between 122 and 123 points Saturday, suggesting an environment where Gordon could thrive offensively again.

At -120 odds on BetMGM, the bet has a 54.6% implied probability of hitting, and a $10 bet would net $8.33 in profit.

⬇️ Devin Booker Under 26.5 points (-114) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Devin Booker and the Suns will be playing their third game in four nights to open the season, and they’re coming off a loss to the Clippers on Friday where Los Angeles put on a clinic on how to limit the shooting opportunities of Phoenix’s best player by far. Booker put up just 10 shots in the 129-102 loss, leaving him with a modest 18 points.

The Nuggets did a good job on Stephen Curry early in their opener before he caught fire late, but there’s a bit less to worry about elsewhere for Denver when it comes to the Suns.

Booker has had his share of success against the Nuggets over the years, but without another star to take the focus off him, some possible early-season fatigue, and a potential scenario where he takes an early seat if there’s a lopsided game script, the Under is at play here on a lofty total.

At -114 odds on FanDuel, the bet has a 53.3% implied probability of hitting, while a $10 bet would net $8.77 in profit.
