The Raptors are in a strong position to cover the -6 spread against the Bulls tonight. Toronto has been playing with improved defensive intensity, limiting opponents’ second-chance opportunities and forcing turnovers that quickly turn into transition points.
The Bulls have essentially accepted tanking the rest of the season, and I am looking to fade them until the books adjust the lines. The Bulls have struggled to maintain offensive efficiency, especially against teams that pressure the ball. If Toronto wins the rebounding battle and continues to share the ball effectively, covering six points is well within reach.

💡 How I'm handicapping Raptors vs. Bulls
The Bulls are a team I have targeted for several days as a fade post–All-Star break. Since they traded away Nikola Vucevic, Coby White, Ayo Dosunmu, and Kevin Huerter, it became clear that this team was planning to tank in the second half of the season. Their current rotation lacks proven scoring and interior presence, which has led to inconsistent offensive production and defensive breakdowns.
The Bulls have also struggled to cover the spread all season, covering just 25 of 55 games. This puts them in the bottom 10 in the league ATS. That number should continue to dwindle, as they now have a non-competitive roster. The Raptors, however, are finally getting healthy and are a team to watch in the second half of the NBA season. I have the Raptors projected as roughly an 11-point favorite here, so we have plenty of room to cover the six-point line.
This play is a 1-unit play for me. I have a total of five plays on today’s slate, and this is my favorite of them all. As it is the first day after the All-Star break, I am not going heavy on my units. This play will represent 20% of my daily action.
