The Boston Celtics return home with a chance to put the Dallas Mavericks away in the NBA Finals, and we're offering our top Mavericks vs. Celtics parlay predictions based on the best NBA odds for Game 5.

Heading into Game 4 of the NBA Finals, it looked like the Dallas Mavericks were a sinking ship against the Boston Celtics. Instead, they came out firing, led by Luka Doncic, who remains a contender by the NBA Finals MVP odds, and managed to blow the Celtics out of the water.

As the series shifts to TD Garden in Boston for Game 5 on Monday at 8:30 p.m. ET (ABC), the Celtics have a chance to clinch their first championship since 2008. They are expected to pull it off as a 6.5-point home favorite, with NBA championship odds as short as -3500.

Along with our Mavericks vs. Celtics player props and Mavericks vs. Celtics last-minute predictions, here are our best Mavericks vs. Celtics parlay predictions for Game 5.

SGP predictions for Mavericks vs. Celtics

Luka Doncic Over 3.5 turnovers ⭐⭐⭐⭐

You best believe that Doncic will have the ball in his hands as much as possible against Boston. After facing non-stop criticism following Game 3, Doncic bounced back and led the charge in the 122-84 win. With that said, I'm not expecting nearly as clean a performance in Game 5.

Plenty of touches and an astronomically high usage rate against this Celtics defense should lead to turnovers. Doncic is averaging four per game in the postseason and had 12 total in the first two games at the Garden. With the Celtics backcourt getting after him, and Doncic likely feeling the need to carry the load to save the Mavs' season, he's going to feel constant pressure.

The -165 odds are too short to bet alone but are perfect to kick this SGP off. They imply a 62.26% implied probability this leg hits, according to our odds converter.

Derrick White Over 1.5 steals + blocks ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Going hand-in-hand with the Doncic turnover leg is the Over on Derrick White's steals and blocks. The Celtics always seem to have some defensive pest at guard from Dennis Johnson to Tony Allen. White has embraced that role as a defensive stopper and quickly become the best shot-blocking guard in the NBA.

He's not just swatting away shots, either, as White's been frustrating opposing ball handlers all playoffs. He's averaging 2.1 steals and blocks for the postseason and has at least two in seven of his last nine games. He put on a masterclass in Game 2 at home with five steals and blocks against Dallas, too.

Boston has already recorded 47 steals and blocks against the Mavs in this series, and White is set to continue that pace in Game 5. These odds imply a 66.67% probability this leg hits.

Jrue Holiday Over 1.5 made 3-pointers ⭐⭐⭐⭐

In 10 years, there will be a 30 for 30 about how Brad Stevens built this Celtics roster into one of the best in recent memory without signing superstars to bring together a superteam in Beantown. After last season's disappointing end, the addition of Jrue Holiday has made all the difference this year.

The only Celtics player with a championship ring, Holiday has been the perfect 3-and-D complement in the playoffs. He's averaging 1.9 made 3-pointers per game and shooting 40.5% from deep in the postseason. Against Dallas, he's been even better with Over 1.5 threes in three of four games while shooting 43.8% - the best rate from any of Boston's top six players.

The odds for this prop imply a 62.96% probability this leg hits and brings the SGP to +275. Those combined odds imply a 26.67% win probability with a $10 bet paying a $27.50 profit.
