LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers will again take center stage in the NBA on Thursday with their visit to play the Indiana Pacers. LeBron, of course, remains hot on the heels of the NBA's all-time scoring record. Read on for our LeBron James player props based on the best NBA odds.

LeBron is just 89 points away (38,299) from surpassing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as the all-time points leader in the NBA. He won’t be breaking that record in Thursday's road battle with the Pacers, and is officially listed as questionable due to a sore left ankle, that doesn’t mean bettors can’t win some money by betting on The King's NBA player props on Thursday.

Here are our best LeBron James player prop picks for Thursday (odds via FanDuel Sportsbook, DraftKings Sportsbook, and Barstool Sportsbook; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

LeBron James player props

LeBron James Under 29.5 points (-105 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

James is averaging 30.2 points per game, but we are betting against him putting on too much of an offensive clinic with the scoring title in his sights. James is really smart, and with a nationally-televised matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks on deck for Thursday, Feb. 9, that seems like the time he’s going to break the scoring record. That is four games from now and is currently the favorite with a price of -120 via FanDuel.

This pick is based on more than a theory, however, as Numberfire projects James to score 26 points in the latest DFS projections. That gives us a significant edge on the Under at FanDuel, especially since it is juiced as high as -120 at two of our other best NBA betting sites. Caesars even lists the player prop at 28.5 points.

James will do enough scoring to get the win, but we are betting against him hitting the 30-point threshold. This is playable to -121 juice before we’d recommend avoiding this prop.

LeBron James Under 2.5 3-pointers (-130 via Barstool) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

If we don’t expect James to score 30 or more, the best way to ensure that is by limiting his 3-pointers. Luckily in this case, Barstool is offering the best price on the market for James to finish with two or fewer 3-pointers. Two other sportsbooks list the Under at -160 vig, but don’t take anything longer than -155.

James has hit three or more 3-pointers in only three different games since the calendar flipped to the new year, averaging 2.4 triples over that 13-game span. James is shooting just 31% from long range on the season and that number dips to 30.8% on the road. The Pacers are giving up 12.7 triples per contest this year, but we are counting on other Lakers players to be responsible for a bulk of the 3-point production on Thursday.

LeBron James Over 7.5 rebounds (-130 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐

Most public DFS projections have James pegged for a projected range of 7.7 and 7.9 rebounds for Thursday's matchup, so eight does seem like the most likely outcome. PointsBet is offering Under 8.5 rebounds with -135 juice, but we prefer taking the Over at Caesars for -128 vig instead based on what James has done on the glass of late.

James is averaging 8.5 rebounds per game, which ranks 27th in the league. That average climbs up to 8.9 per contest over his last 10 outings, and he has cleared this mark in 11 consecutive games. Considering this game has a total of around 240, this number seems a bit low and we are willing to take the stab on the Over as long as the prop remains at 7.5.
