Celtics vs. Mavericks Player Props & Odds: Friday's NBA Finals Game 4 Prop Bets

After Luka Doncic fouled out with four minutes to go in Game 3, the Mavericks chances of pulling off a win fell apart. The Celtics now lead 3-0 as we breakdown our top player props for Game 4 on Friday.

The Dallas Mavericks are on the brink of elimination heading into Game 4 against the Boston Celtics, and we're offering our top Celtics vs. Mavericks player props based on the best NBA odds for Friday's NBA Finals.

It looked like the Boston Celtics would run away with Game 3 against the Dallas Mavericks, but a late push made things interesting. Boston nearly gave up one of the biggest comebacks in NBA Finals history until Luka Doncic fouled out with four minutes to go, something that would never happen if David Stern were still alive.

Friday's Game 4 gets underway at 8:30 p.m. ET (ABC) at American Airlines Center in Dallas. The Celtics are as short as -10000 to take home the Larry O'Brien trophy, according to the NBA championship odds.

While Dallas is a 1-point home favorite, maybe the only compelling thing left about this series is which of Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum, the NBA Finals MVP odds favorites, will take home the top honor.

Celtics vs. Mavericks prop bet predictions for Friday

Luka Doncic Over 3.5 made 3-pointers ⭐⭐⭐⭐

It appears that everyone outside of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, and even some in it, has grabbed their pitchforks and is ready to turn on Doncic. His poor defense, propensity for screaming at the refs, and horrific sixth foul to exit Game 3 early has everyone fired up, especially Brian Windhorst.

This has quickly become a rough series for Doncic, who needs to come out firing in Game 4 if Dallas wants to avoid the sweep. He's been shooting poorly against Boston, but his pure volume should help him hit four threes for the third time this series.

Doncic has finished with Over 3.5 made 3-pointers in eight of his last 10 games while averaging 4.1 makes on 9.8 attempts (41.8%) per game during that stretch. These odds imply a 53.49% win probability, according to our odds converter, with a $10 bet paying out $18.70.

Jayson Tatum Under 27.5 points ⭐⭐⭐

It finally happened: Tatum started knocking down shots, even if it was only briefly. If not for him carrying the offense in the first quarter, Dallas looked like it would pull away. With that being said, 13 of his 31 points came in the opening quarter, and he had just 18 while going 7-for-19 from the floor (36.8%) and 2-for-9 from three (22.2%) the rest of the game.

He remains impactful as the Celtics' leading rebounder (8.7) and assister (7.3) in the series, but his shooting is still an issue - so much so that the Finals MVP is Brown's to lose at this point. With Tatum's shooting woes, I'm expecting him to continue leaning into his facilitator role in Game 4 with how well his teammates are shooting.

These odds imply a 53.49% win probability with a $10 bet paying an $8.70 profit.

Derrick White Over 23.5 points + rebounds + assists ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Between Dallas' backcourt letting Mavericks fans down, the Jayson vs. Jaylen debate, Kristaps Porzingis' strong return and ensuing injury, and Jrue Holiday unleashing in Game 2, it seems that White's contributions are going slightly unnoticed. White's the most underrated player in Boston's lineup and maybe the most underrated player in the league.

He's been the perfect 3-and-D complement all season and it's continued into the Finals. He's a pest defensively, but it's been his all-around game on offense that's really stood out. White's been hitting timely threes throughout the series - going 11-for-27 (40.7%) - while facilitating when needed and fighting for boards.

For the series, he's averaging 24 PRA and has gone Over 23.5 in back-to-back games. The odds imply a 53.49% probability he'll do it again in Game 4 with a $10 bet paying out $18.70.
