After a riveting night of hoops in the NBA In-Season Tournament, we're analyzing our favorite NBA player props and best bets for Wednesday based on the best NBA odds.

It’s hard to find a reason to dislike the NBA’s In-Season Tournament.

Monday’s two-game slate featured exciting matchups between the Indiana Pacers and Boston Celtics and the New Orleans Pelicans and Sacramento Kings, while Tuesday's slate ended with a thriller between the Los Angeles Lakers and Phoenix Suns. The semifinals are set for Thursday, and teams who didn’t make the IST will play Wednesday and Friday.

Wednesday's jumbo slate features a matchup between the injury-riddled Charlotte Hornets and Chicago Bulls, with a chance to take advantage of a mispriced points prop. The Utah Jazz will be missing their top two scorers for a matchup with another team with an extensive injury report, the Dallas Mavericks. Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards is expected to return tonight against the San Antonio Spurs, and he’ll look to stay hot from the floor.

Here are our NBA player props and best bets for Wednesday (odds via our best NBA betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Wednesday’s NBA player props

Simone Fontecchio Over 19.5 points + rebounds + assists (-104 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐

No Lauri Markkanen? No Jordan Clarkson? No problem.

Fontecchio has started each of Utah’s last five games with Markkanen sidelined, including the previous two with Clarkson also out. In those five contests, the Italian forward has averaged 11.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 3.2 assists, good for 19.2 PRAs.

Fontechhio’s PRA prop is set at 18.5 across most of our best sports betting apps for -125 odds, but we can get it at 19.5 for more profitable -104 odds by using our FanDuel promo code.

He’s posted exactly 20 PRAs in three of his five games in his recent stretch with the starting five, so taking the extra PRA at FanDuel is certainly not outrageous. Dallas ranks in the top 10 in points and rebounds allowed, and the team is dealing with several key injuries. Josh Green is out, and defensive anchor Grant Williams is questionable, while Tim Hardaway Jr. and Kyrie Irving are also game-time decisions.

Fontecchio has seen some strong run with the Jazz as of late, and he’ll look to build on it tonight in a favorable defensive matchup and plenty of opportunities for extensive playing time.

Patrick Williams Over 12.5 points (+100 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐

Zach LaVine will miss a third straight game, meaning Williams has plenty of scoring opportunities for Williams. P-Will has started each of the last four games for Chicago, and he’s scored in double figures in six straight contests, including five in a row with at least 12 points.

Williams has shot 55.8% from the field during his recent strong scoring performances. He can take advantage of a Charlotte defense that allows the fifth-highest shooting percentage to opponents overall (49.2) and the fifth-highest on the road (50.1). Charlotte also allows the fifth-most points to opponents, making this a favorable matchup for Williams.

Working in Williams’ favor is Torrey Craig’s questionable tag. Williams’ recent scoring run has come with Craig in the lineup, but should he miss this one, some of Craig’s 21.4 minutes should go to Williams.

This prop is set at -111 at FanDuel and -105 at bet365, but we can get even money by using our DraftKings promo code, making this a value play.

Anthony Edwards Over 26.5 points (-115 via bet365) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Ant-Man has missed Minnesota’s last two games, but he’s expected to play tonight against the Spurs. He’s in a great position to put up points, and bettors can turn their attention to his scoring prop.

Edwards has averaged 27.6 points at home compared to 24.8 on the road. He’s posted seven games with at least 27 points this season, including two of his last three at home. One of his 27-point games came at San Antonio, but he can be even better in a home tilt with the lowly Spurs.

San Antonio allows the third-most points to opponents overall and the second-most on the road. The Spurs allow opposing shooters to hit 39.6% of three-point attempts overall and 43.5% on the road. Both of those marks rank second in the NBA. Edwards is shooting a career-best 37.7% from beyond the arc on 6.7 attempts per game. He should have no problem crushing this prop as one of the NBA’s premier scorers in a highly favorable home matchup with a team that’s lost 14 straight.
