The New York Liberty have hit the skids as of late, stumbling to a 3-5 record over the last eight games, but I still think they line up well against Golden State, which is something reflected in my Liberty vs. Valkyries prediction. The Liberty are 8-11 on the road, while Golden State has enjoyed playing at home with a 12-7 record. For my WNBA picks, I like New York to continue its dominance over Golden State in 2025. The Liberty are 3-0 against the Valkyries, winning by an average margin of 12 points.
Liberty guard Sabrina Ionescu appears set to return after missing two games with a toe injury. I think Ionescu is poised to come out in attack mode, and I’m backing the over on one of her player props.

I just think New York matches up really well with Golden State. The Liberty have still been a top-three offensive team and play extremely fast, something that could give the Valkyries trouble.
