He completed 22 of 30 pass attempts in last week’s semi-final game for 321 yards and two touchdowns. B.C. was 8-1 with him under center before his injury. His only loss was to this Blue Bombers team.
The defending Grey Cup champions are one game away from a third crack at the title. The Bombers finished the regular season at 15-3 with the league's best record. However, two of those losses came over their last five games. They're 2-1 against the Lions this season having lost to Vernon Adams Jr. in Week 19. These teams met in the regular seasons' last matchup in a contest featuring mainly backups that ended in a Winnipeg 24-9 victory.
