The BC Lions and Saskatchewan Roughriders conclude the CFL's Week 11 slate in a Sunday night showdown. Here is our best Lions-Roughriders prediction based on the latest CFL odds from the best sportsbooks in Canada.

The Saskatchewan Roughriders' season has gone very differently than they hoped for, as No. 3 quarterback Jake Dolegala will start against the BC Lions on Sunday.

Saskatchewan has dropped four of its past five games, and the Roughriders have quickly bowed out of the race to win the West Division. Meanwhile, the Lions’ seven wins put them tied at the top with the betting favorite Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the Grey Cup odds.

BC quarterback Vernon Adams Jr. has also returned to the fold following a three-game absence with a knee injury. He tossed for a healthy 322 yards and four touchdowns last week.

I’m handicapping a significant advantage for the Lions at the most important position on the field, and I also expect Adams to strengthen his case for mention among the top candidates for the CFL's Most Outstanding Player Award.

There’s already been significant line movement toward the BC side, so landing this spread below the key number of 10 is the way to go.

The Roughriders rank second-last in points per game, so I’m not expecting their third-string quarterback to turn the offense around. Add in the Lions' defense allowing the fewest net offensive yards and points per game, and Saskatchewan is up against it here.

It’s just the opposite for BC with Adams back.

While Saskatchewan presents a strong statistical defense on paper, conceding 41 points to the Montreal Alouettes last week is tough to overlook. Additionally, if the Roughriders' offense struggles to move the chains it'll be a long night for their defense.
