The Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Yankees continue an entertaining three-game series between two of baseballs most iconic franchises. Here are our Yankees vs. Dodgers picks based on the best MLB odds from our best sports betting apps.

The series opener between the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers was a high-scoring affair that featured seven home runs, including two each from Dodgers star Mookie Betts and Yankees third baseman Josh Donaldson.

Betts is re-establishing himself as one of the premier players in baseball. Though he trails teammate Freddie Freeman in the MLB MVP odds, he's been scorching hot of late and ranks fifth among position players in WAR.

Betts is coming off a four-hit performance in the series opener that included two runs scored, three RBIs, 10 total bases, and a stolen base. He's collected nine hits in his last four games.

As a result, Betts' batter props for Saturday are overpriced. He carries -240 odds to record a hit at FanDuel and -135 odds to score a run.

Betts faces off with Cole on Saturday and he's enjoyed a successful history against the Yankees ace. In 14 career at-bats in the head-to-head matchup, Betts has seven hits, a slash line of .500/.533/.571, and an OPS of 1.105.
