Two division leaders battle in the second game of a four-game series as the Milwaukee Brewers host the Los Angeles Dodgers, and we have you covered with our best Dodgers vs. Brewers player props based on the best sports betting sites.

The Dodgers took the first game of the series 5-2 and have won three of the four head-to-head meetings with the Brewers this year. Los Angeles has needed every win it can get lately, as its lead in the NL West has dwindled to 3.5 games over the Arizona Diamondbacks and San Diego Padres, even though it is 14-8 since the All-Star Break.

The Dodgers were inspired by Mookie Betts’ two-hit and three-RBI night in his first game back from the IL, but I have my eyes on a different player prop involving a Dodgers hitter.

Prediction: Gavin Stone Over 5.5 hits allowed ⭐⭐⭐

Stone has thrown 84 pitches in his previous two starts but has not been very economical with that pitch count, as he recorded 14 or fewer outs in both. That is because opposing batters have been teeing off on him, as the righty has allowed six-plus hits in six consecutive starts since the calendar has turned to July.

He faces a Brewers lineup that entered this series opener ranked in the top 10 in the league in runs, wOBA, and wRC+. And even though the Brewers also rank third in walks, we expect their offense to be more free-swinging on Tuesday against a pitcher who has allowed one or fewer walks in five of his last seven outings

Prediction: Teoscar Hernandez Over 0.5 RBIs ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Hernandez entered yesterday’s series opener with a nine-game hitting streak while batting .432 with 10 extra-base hits, 10 RBIs, and a 1.394 OPS. And though he went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts yesterday, he has not gone consecutive games without a run batted in nine straight days.

Hernandez’s RBI odds are somewhat lowered when facing Colin Rea, who leads all Brewers starting pitchers in WAR (2.4). Rea has allowed just two earned runs in his last 17 1/3 innings, but Hernandez now benefits from batting behind Mookie Betts once again and fellow former MVPs Shohei Ohtani and Freddie Freeman. He's a great bet to drive in a run for the sixth time in the last eight games.

Considering the Over for Hernandez to exceed 1.5 total bases have much shorter +125 odds, we are more tempted by Betway’s +150 odds for him to drive in a run, where a winning $10 wager would return $15 in profits.

Prediction: Jackson Chourio Over 0.5 runs ⭐⭐⭐

Brewers rookie Chourio has the third-best NL Rookie of the Year Award odds at most of the best sports betting apps and continues gaining momentum each month. Chourio started slow, batting .206 in April and .215 in May, but he picked it up considerably with a .315 average in June and entered Monday batting .358 since the All-Star Break.

Chourio continues to find his way on base much more frequently after cutting his strikeout rate by over 30% (from 47% to 16.5%) from his first 50 career games to his next 50. And even though he typically hits in the No. 2 hole in front of the meat of the Brewers batting order, he does not necessarily need to rely on those sluggers to drive him in, as he has five home runs in the last 20 games.

Chourio has scored at least one run in six of 10 August games, suggesting his 45.45% implied probability to cross the plate tonight is much too low. I am backing this play with a $10 wager to earn a $22 payout.
