💰 Best NRFI bets today (Tuesday, August 11)
Red Sox vs. Blue Jays NRFI (-160) - 7:07 p.m. ET
- Patrick Sandoval (3.38 ERA) vs. Dylan Cease (2.28 ERA)
- NRFI records: Red Sox (55-63) vs. Blue Jays (61-59)
Cease has a long history of dominance against these Red Sox, striking them out at a near-29% clip while limiting them to a .220 xBA and .295 xwOBA. He's also in the middle of the hottest stretch of his season, allowing just one earned run across his last 22 innings pitched - that'll play. On the other side is Patrick Sandoval, who's held this Blue Jays team to a .303 xwOBA. All we need is six simple outs, and we're in a perfect spot to cash here.
Pirates vs. Marlins NRFI (-170) - 6:40 p.m. ET
- Paul Skenes (3.96) vs. Eury Perez (3.61 ERA)
- NRFI records: Pirates (62-58) vs. Marlins (65-54)
Do the Pirates have a Skenes problem? He has the highest ERA since his freshman year of high school right now, which I can't believe is a sentence I just wrote. I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt against the Marlins today, though, as he's striking this team out at a 44% clip across 38 plate appearances. That is kind of ridiculous. Elsewhere, Perez has been just as effective against the Pirates, limiting them to a .177 xBA. He hasn't allowed a run in the first frame in six straight starts - let's fire this play up with confidence as part of our best NRFI bets today.

💡 How I'm betting NRFI picks today (August 11)
Follow all of our MLB analysis and expert predictions for baseball season.
A NRFI (No Run First Inning) bet carries high variance, meaning success requires a disciplined, daily dive into the data. Before placing a wager, run through a strict checklist: analyze how the starting pitcher matches up against the top three hitters in the lineup, track underlying metrics like strikeout rates (K%) and expected batting averages (xBA), and review recent team-specific first-inning scoring trends. Because a single mistake or lucky hit can ruin the bet instantly, always use this daily routine to guide your wagers and scale your unit sizing accordingly to protect your bankroll.
