We aim to nail our featured top home run pick for the sixth consecutive day, centered around a highly anticipated series between AL East contenders. I expect New York Yankees slugger Trent Grisham to add to his career year against Toronto this afternoon.

The Yankees as a whole had been red-hot entering yesterday’s series opener against the Toronto Blue Jays, having won nine of their previous 11 games. The Bronx Bombers scored 82 runs and swatted 30 homers in that 11-game span, while recording an MLB-best .905 team OPS.

Grisham is batting just .192 in his career against Blue Jays righty Max Scherzer. But one of his five career hits was a home run, and Scherzer has allowed multiple home runs in back-to-back starts, and four of his previous nine.
