As we enter the final day of the MLB regular season, and I make my best home run predictions today, be mindful that some hitters may receive the day off with the playoffs looming.

One player we can count on being a fixture in today’s lineup is New York Yankees slugger Giancarlo Stanton, as he looks to help lead the New York Yankees to a division title and home-field advantage throughout the AL playoffs.

Joining Stanton in my four-pack of MLB picks to build off yesterday’s profitable +3.34-unit day are Rafael Devers, Matt Olson, and James Wood.

If all of them homer, my four-leg $10 parlay would net over $2,700 in profits.

Here is my favorite MLB home run bet today and analysis of why it leads my MLB home run predictions.

⚾ Giancarlo Stanton (Yankees) to hit a home run ⭐⭐⭐

Stanton hit his 451st and 452nd career home runs in Friday’s series opener, which tied him with Carl Yastrzemski for 40th on the all-time home run list. He is getting hot at the right time for the Yankees, with another home run yesterday, a 1.317 OPS over the last seven days and a 1.323 OPS against the Baltimore Orioles this season.

Orioles righty Kyle Bradish has been tough on right-handed batters through five starts this season, limiting them to a .114/.152/.182 slash line. But the Yankees also did the unthinkable and tagged southpaw Trevor Rogers for three home runs through three innings on Friday, which matched his total from the prior 17 starts (106 ⅔ IP).

It would not be shocking if Stanton were to cash this wager in the first inning, as New York set an MLB record with 49 first-inning home runs this season.

Stanton’s 55.9% hard-hit rate is on pace to be his second-highest of the last 10 years, and few players in the league run as hot as him when he is in the midst of a power surge.

FanDuel provides the best value on this wager, as a $10 bet would net $26.50 in profits if the slugger homers for the fourth time in this series.
