Earlier this week, Judge became the fourth player in MLB history to have four seasons of 50-plus home runs. He is also on pace to finish as the first player ever to lead the majors in batting average, hit 50 or more home runs, and record 120-plus walks in a single season.

Since 2022, Judge ranks second among all players in OPS, OBP, slugging, wOBA, wRC+, home runs, and fWAR. Entering Friday’s series opener, his 162-game average over his entire MLB career is a 1.027 OPS and 52 home runs.

Judge has a great chance to add to his 52 home runs when facing Baltimore Orioles righty Tomoyuki Sugano, against whom he is 6-for-7 with two home runs. 

Sugano has allowed at least one home run in five consecutive starts, and multiple home runs three times in that span. And Judge is slashing .395/.529/.789 against the Orioles, his best numbers in all categories against any division rival this season.
