One of the best ways to find value in Major League Baseball games is to attack the player props markets. Read on for our favorite MLB player props for Tuesday based on the best MLB odds.

We've found success recently in the pitcher strikeouts market, so we'll continue to look there for value on Tuesday.

Along with two perennial aces, a post-hype former top prospect comes with a very enticing number on his total bases prop on Tuesday.

Seattle Mariners right-hander Luis Castillo owns his best strikeout percentage (28.1) since the abbreviated 2020 campaign. His 14.7% swinging-strike rate is also the fifth-best mark among qualified pitchers this season.

Ballpark Pal prices this prop at -313, and FanDuel offers it at -184, the shortest number among our best sports betting apps. Most of our other best sportsbooks offer this prop in the -150 range, making DraftKings the book at which we want to make this bet.

Castillo is projected for 6.69 strikeouts on Tuesday, according to NumberFire. Therefore, one could make the argument that we push this bet to Over 5.5 (+125 via DraftKings) or even all the way to Over 6.5 (+255 via FanDuel). However, Castillo's opponents, the Boston Red Sox, strike out at the fifth-lowest rate in the majors, and I prefer the implied probability associated with Ballpark Pal's projected price on Over 4.5 strikeouts.

We're already seeing this price get shorter - Caesars offered it at -125 at 10:30 a.m. ET - so get the -140 while you can.

If you thought Castillo's numbers were impressive, take a look at these. Toronto Blue Jays ace Kevin Gausman owns the second-best strikeout rate (34.2%) among qualified starting pitchers this season, behind only the punchout machine that is Atlanta's Spencer Strider. Gausman also owns the second-best outside swing rate and the seventh-best swinging strike rate.

Ballpark Pal's projected price on this prop is -175, which checks out when considering Gausman's numbers thus far and the fact that NumberFire projects him to finish with 7.28 strikeouts on Tuesday.

FanDuel offers this prop as short as -142, with a number of our other best sports betting sites hovering around -125. That makes this price at BetMGM even more enticing. 

Jarred Kelenic Over 1.5 total bases (+120 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐

Jarred Kelenic brings with him my favorite hitting prop on Tuesday. The Seattle Mariners outfielder has thus far put together the type of campaign that was expected of him as one of baseball's top prospects. He has 20 extra-base hits in 153 plate appearances (one every 7.65 PAs) and owns a very respectable .291 batting average.

Ballpark Pal's projected price for Kelenic Over 1.5 total bases is -103, the second-shortest price on the market. FanDuel once again offers this prop at a much shorter price than our other best MLB betting sites with its -130 number.

NumberFire projects Kelenic to be one of the day's most valuable fantasy hitters, which we can use as another tool when making this bet. Though I wouldn't use that information to find a bet, I do appreciate it as a form of confirmation.
