A week after stunning one Florida-based ACC opponent, Stanford will attempt to shock the world again — although my best Stanford vs. Miami player prop bets forecast a long Saturday night for the Cardinal at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Fla. (7 p.m. ET, ESPN).
In particular, I’m fading Stanford’s dreadful pass defense with two of my college football picks for this conference matchup, which features Miami as a hefty 29.5-point betting favorite.
My trio of Stanford vs. Miami player prop bets are among dozens of college football predictions for Week 9 as we attempt to guide you to a successful wagering weekend.

💰 Best Stanford vs. Miami player props
Our college football player prop odds tool shows the best odds for every market across legal sportsbooks in your area.
⬆️ Carson Beck player prop: Over 2.5 touchdown passes (+130) ⭐⭐⭐
Carson Beck didn’t throw a touchdown in last week’s stunning loss to Louisville. Nor did he throw one against Florida. In between those two games, though, Miami’s quarterback chucked four TDs against Florida State. And prior to facing the Gators, he had three against South Florida (preceded by two each against Notre Dame and FCS foe Bethune-Cookman).
Notre Dame (10), South Florida (10) and Florida State (12) have allowed 32 TD passes. Stanford has yielded 13 — including 10 against Virginia, San Jose State and SMU prior to last week’s upset of Florida State. Back to Beck: He’s tossed three-plus TDs 10 times in his last 30 games. He also has multiple scoring throws in each of his last six games the week after getting shutout.
Grab this Stanford vs. Miami player prop at BetMGM. The +130 odds carry a 43.48% implied win probability, with a winning $10 wager returning $13.

⬆️ CJ Daniels player prop: Over 62.5 receiving yards (-114) ⭐⭐⭐
The answer: SMU and Air Force. The question: Name the only two FBS schools (out of 136) that have given up more passing yards than Stanford. The actual numbers through seven games: 2,133 yards (304.1 per contest) and a whopping 8 yards per pass attempt. Since Week 2, 11 different opponents have compiled at least 70 receiving yards against the Cardinal — and five topped 100 yards.
Which brings me to Miami’s CJ Daniels. The sixth-year senior wideout ranks second on the team in receptions (30) and yards (343), and he’s coming off his two best performances of the season with 78 yards against Florida State and 74 yards against Louisville. So I’ll confidently ride Daniels’ hot hand at a very reasonable number against a god-awful secondary.
FanDuel’s -114 price leads the market and has a 53.27% implied win probability. Payout on a $10 bet: $8.77.
⬇️ Mark Fletcher Jr. player prop: Under 81.5 rushing yards (-114) ⭐⭐
Track the latest college football scores for line movement and matchup info.
The most shocking thing about Miami’s loss to Louisville last week — beyond the final score, of course — was the fact that Hurricanes running back Mark Fletcher Jr. was a total non-factor. The junior compiled a season-low 18 yards on eight carries. This after being limited to just 40 yards on 12 carries the previous week at Florida State.
Given those two performances, Miami likely will devise a scheme designed to get Fletcher — who had 388 yards in the first four games — back on track. It’s not going to be easy, though. Because while Stanford cannot defend the pass, only three opposing running backs have compiled more than 70 rushing yards. So unless he busts a big one, that’s where I have Fletcher topping out: 70 rushing yards.
FanDuel’s -114 odds on this Stanford vs. Miami player prop carry an implied win probability of 53.27%. Risk $10 to win $8.77.
