Best Rutgers vs. Washington Player Prop Picks for Week 7: Huskies’ Secondary Will Shut Down Rutgers QB Kaliakmanis

Rutgers quarterback Athan Kaliakmanis is averaging nearly 280 passing yards per game this season — but don’t expect the senior to come close to that average Friday night at Washington.

Among the three college football games on the Friday schedule, the most intriguing battle takes place in Seattle, and I’m offering up my best Rutgers vs. Washington player props for your wagering consideration.

Washington is a hefty 10.5-point betting favorite in this nationally televised Big Ten clash from Husky Stadium (9 p.m. ET, Fox). And my college football picks target both starting quarterbacks, as well as the nation’s leading touchdown scorer.

Of course, we’ve got additional college football predictions for Week 7, all designed to help you turn a tidy profit.

💰 Best Rutgers vs. Washington player prop picks

Our college football player prop odds tool shows the best odds for every market across legal sportsbooks in your area.

⬇️ Athan Kaliakmanis Under 269.5 passing yards (-115) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Given that Rutgers quarterback Athan Kaliakmanis is averaging a tick under 280 passing yards per game this season, your first instinct on this Rutgers vs. Washington player prop is to play the Over. Especially since Washington’s pass defense (No. 58) isn’t as good as its run defense (No. 9 in the country).

However, in his first road trip of 2025 last week, Kaliakmanis had a season low 249 yards at Minnesota (which ranks 52nd against the pass). It was the 12th time in 14 career road/neutral site games that Kaliakmanis failed to hit 270 passing yards. Meanwhile, Washington State’s Zevi Eckhaus (277 yards) is the only opposing quarterback to clear 220 yards against the Huskies. Kaliakmanis will probably beat that number — but he’s not getting to 270.

Caesars’ -115 odds imply a 53.49% win probability. A successful $10 wager will pay $8.70.

⬆️ Demond Williams Jr. Over 58.5 rushing yards (-114) ⭐⭐⭐

Washington quarterback Demond Williams Jr. has a lot of mobility, but he got absolutely stonewalled in his team’s 28-6 loss to Ohio State two weeks ago, turning 13 carries into minus-28 yards. Last week, though, Williams got back on track, with 54 yards on 14 carries against a Maryland defense that (at least statistically) is on par with Ohio State.

In three games before facing the Buckeyes, Williams sprinted for 68, 64 and 88 yards. Now take a look at how three mobile quarterbacks fared on the ground against Rutgers this year: 93 yards (Ohio’s Parker Navarro);  85 yards (Miami-Ohio’s Dequan Finn); 55 yards (Iowa’s Mark Gronowski). The latter was a career high by 16 yards.

Tail this Rutgers vs. Washington player prop at FanDuel. The -114 price carries a 53.27% implied win probability, and you’ll collect $8.77 on a winning $10 wager.

🔥 Jonah Coleman to score first-half TD (-145) ⭐⭐

After scoring 11 touchdowns in his first three games, Washington running back Jonah Coleman was shutout the past two weeks against Ohio State and Maryland. No shame there, as the Buckeyes and Terps have allowed a combined two rushing touchdowns.

Rutgers, on the other hand, has surrendered nine rushing TDs, including eight against its four FBS opponents. So I’m betting that Coleman reacquaints himself with the end zone Friday. And because his anytime TD price is through the roof, I’m banking on an early score. There’s precedent here: Coleman scored less than five minutes into Washington’s first two games and early in the second quarter in the third contest. He also had first-half TDs in three of the Huskies’ last four regular-season games in 2024.

DraftKings is the lone sportsbook offering this Rutgers vs. Washington player prop. The implied win probability at  -145 odds: 59.18%. Bet $10 to win $6.70.
