⬆️ Jadarian Price Over 62.5 rushing yards (-114) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

After conceding much of the rushing work to teammate Jeremiyah Love through the first two games, this is the perfect opportunity to get Jadarian Price a huge bulk of carries, with the game script likely in Notre Dame’s favor.

Love has logged 33 carries to Price’s 18, and he's been a fixture on passing downs due to his elite blitz pickup skills while adding eight receptions and a receiving touchdown. But Price has proven to be the more significant home run threat through two weeks. He's averaging 6.3 yards per carry with Love at 3.8, and it shouldn’t take much more than 10 rushes to eclipse this total.

This is a confident four-star play, as Price ran for 86 yards on eight carries during last year’s 66-7 rout of Purdue. Once Notre Dame was in must-win mode after its loss to Northern Illinois, Price ran for 63-plus yards on four more occasions to finish out the regular season.

The best price and number can be found at FanDuel, as this Over is juiced as high as -115 (carrying a 53.49% implied probability) or is at 63.5 yards at other best sports betting sites. Through FanDuel’s -114 odds, a $10 winning wager would net $8.77 in profit.

⬆️ Devin Mockobee Over 48.5 rushing yards (-114) ⭐⭐⭐

Boilermakers running back Devin Mockobee gets a chance to be the school’s all-time leading rusher at the end of this season.

When things were going well and the team was playing with a lead through its first two games, Mockobee was a bell cow back with 46 carries for 185 yards and three touchdowns. Mockobee benefits from opposing defenses needing to respect the dual-threat ability of Purdue quarterback Ryan Browne, and he should be in line for a lot of work if this game stays close.

The tailback received a season-low 12 carries during last week’s 33-17 loss to USC, and his nine carries in last year’s defeat to Notre Dame tied a season-low. That's why this is not a more confident four- or five-star play. But he's still facing a Fighting Irish defense that allowed 360 passing yards on just 17 completions last week. That suggests there should be some lighter boxes while trying to mask the team's secondary issues.

There's great value on this number at FanDuel compared to the O/U of 53.5 (juiced to -115 and a 53.49% implied probability to the Over) at the high end of the market. If Mockobee finishes with 49 or more rushing yards, my $10 winning wager would net $8.77 in profit.

🔥 Eli Raridon anytime touchdown scorer (+175) ⭐⭐⭐

Eli Raridon is making an early case to be Notre Dame’s next great tight end, as he leads the team in receptions (nine) and receiving yards (182). That's a huge step forward after he finished his first two collegiate campaigns with 16 total receptions.

Notre Dame scored six of its eight offensive touchdowns on the ground during last year's blowout win over the boilermakers, with the only two passing touchdowns coming from backup quarterback Steve Angeli in mop-up time. But given Raridon’s early involvement in the passing game, he's a perfect red-zone target over the middle if the Boilermakers sell out to stop the run on Notre Dame’s run-pass option plays in this rematch.

Most of the best sports betting apps are offering the same +175 anytime touchdown odds for Raridon, while the low end of the market features a price of +160 at a 38.46% implied probability. I'm squeezing the most value out of this play at BetMGM, where my $10 wager would return $17.50 in profit if Raridon scores his first touchdown.
