Oregon +3.5 (-115) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

We’ve seen late point spread movement toward Oregon in what should be a highly-contested rematch after Indiana prevailed, 30-20, during the regular season.

Oregon’s defense is firing on all cylinders after shutting out one of the top scoring offenses in the nation in the previous CFP round. While I don’t anticipate a repeat performance of that feat, I’m looking for a tight matchup that comes down to a field goal on either side.

If you’re giving me the hook to +3.5 on either team, that’s the side I’ll take between the FPI’s top two teams in overall efficiency.

Under 48.5 (-108) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Oregon and Indiana have seen their games land at an even 7-7 on Overs for the season, but the trends of late certainly favor the defenses and low-scoring affairs.

In the last round of the playoffs, these two teams combined to allow a grand total of 3 points against Alabama and Texas Tech, respectively. After the regular-season matchup reached 50 total points, I like a more measured scoring pace on Friday given the state of both defenses.

Kenyon Sadiq 4+ receptions (-134) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Despite being a team regularly leading in its games by hefty margins, Oregon has completely stifled opposing passing volume, allowing just 14.3 completions per game (2nd in FBS).

Indiana has been slightly more generous to opposing passing offenses, allowing 19.1 completions per game (65th in FBS). That number has increased to 23.7 completions per game over the Hoosiers’ last three contests.

If both sides stuff the run as usual, Oregon is more equipped to move the ball through the air, with Kenyon Sadiq as a primary candidate for volume. He’s logged 4+ receptions in four of his last five games.
