⬇️ Under 64 (-110) ⭐⭐⭐
I have been impressed by the Arkansas offense and seriously disappointed by the Arkansas defense. Offensively, Arkansas ranks second nationally in yards per play (8.4); defensively, the program ranks 71st in yards allowed per play (5.6). You might expect that to lead me to buy the Over, but I want the Under 64 for -110 (52.4%), largely because what these offenses do best involves keeping the football on the ground, chewing away at the clock.
Both sides run the ball well. Arkansas’ offensive line is generating an impressive 3.7 line yards per rush. Quarterback Taylen Green is averaging 11 rushing attempts per contest and is turning those into an average of 90 yards per game. Notre Dame’s backfield features a likely first-round pick in Jeremiyah Love, who just ran for an absurd 157 yards last week, and Jadarian Price, who is averaging an absurd 6.9 yards per rush attempt.
There are questions defensively on both sides, but Notre Dame’s unit should have some big names returning, especially in the secondary. The market is too bullish on both offenses (or too bearish on both defenses) through a small sample size. It helps that both sides play at a reasonable pace: Arkansas ranks 51st in seconds per play (25.6) while Notre Dame ranks 103rd (28.3).

⬇️ O’Mega Blake Under 73.5 receiving yards (-114) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
I’m fading the leading Arkansas wide receiver, O’Mega Blake, on the receiving yardage market as part of our Notre Dame vs. Arkansas predictions. While Blake has put together a very solid resume this year, nabbing 24 passes for 326 yards (81.5 per contest), he surpassed the 74-yard mark just twice. With the Notre Dame secondary coming to town – and cornerbacks Leonard Moore and DeVonta Smith trending in the right direction – it’s hard to get excited about his prospects.
Blake has only gone over this number in games against FCS programs or fast-paced opponents. He lit up FCS Alabama A&M for 121 yards and fast-paced Ole Miss for 81. The Rebs rank eighth in seconds per play (22.7). But against 62nd-ranked Arkansas State (26.3) and 98th-ranked Memphis (28.1), he averaged just 62 receiving yards on 5.5 receptions. Notre Dame plays at a pace right around Memphis’ which should lower Blake’s ceiling in this spot.
Getting Moore back would be a huge boon for the Notre Dame secondary, and while this play doesn’t hinge on his return, I’m cautiously optimistic that we’ll see an overall turnaround from the unit with at least Smith likely back. The Irish currently rank a disappointing 99th in yards allowed per pass attempt (8.1). Let’s buy the dip and hope for the best by fading Blake to stay Under 73.5 receiving yards for -114 (53.3%) at FanDuel, where a $10 bet will return an $8.77 profit.
