College Football Week 3 Against the Spread Picks for Marquee Games
While Week 3 of the college football season lacks AP Top 25 matchups, our college football Week 3 predictions highlight a fun slate, including a couple of key rivalries.
One such rivalry is the Apple Cup between Washington and Washington State, one of our college football ATS picks for Week 3.
The Huskies aren't in the College Football Playoff odds conversation yet, despite making the CFP last year, but a big win could change that.
Another team to keep an eye on is Ole Miss, as it aims to climb the college football championship odds in its first Power 4 game of the year.
The Rebels are a 23.5-point favorite against Wake Forest at our college football betting sites, thanks in part to QB Jaxson Dart, a Heisman Trophy odds contender.

Washington (-4.5) vs. Washington State
Best odds: -110 via BetMGM | Implied probability: 52.38%
A lot has changed in Seattle since last year's run to the championship game. But new head coach Jedd Fisch has kept the Huskies afloat thanks to key transfer portal additions like Will Rogers and Jonah Coleman.
Those two are the biggest reason Washington is fourth in the country in EPA per play on offense. Meanwhile, Washington State is just 74th in SP+ on defense.
But it's the other side of the ball that will be the difference. The Huskies are fourth in EPA per play on defense and Wazzu is just 62nd in EPA per play on offense.
A home cover in the Apple Cup by the Huskies pays a $9.09 profit on a $10 bet.
Ole Miss (-23.5) vs. Wake Forest
Best odds: -110 via bet365 | Implied probability: 52.38%
There might not be a better offense in the country right now than Ole Miss with the way Dart's playing. He leads the country in passing yards (795) and adjusted completion rate (92.3%), per PFF.
Dart and receiver Tre Harris are thriving in Lane Kiffin's offense and the Demon Deacons are their next victim. Wake Forest just lost to one of the worst P4 teams in the country, Virginia, and is 71st in SP+.
Ole Miss' offense is first in SP+ and fifth in EPA per play while the Deacs are 88th in EPA per play and 105th in EPA per dropback on defense.
The Rebels should blow them out, and if they do, a $10 bet pays a $9.09 profit.
Indiana (-3.5) vs. UCLA
Best odds: +100 via FanDuel | Implied probability: 50%
These teams look completely different under their new head coaches. Indiana just set a school-record by scoring 77 points against Western Illinois while UCLA limped to a 16-13 win over Hawaii in Week 0.
Not only did new Hoosiers coach Curt Cignetti bring several players with him from James Madison, but he landed Kurtis Rourke in the portal. Rourke and former JMU star Elijah Sarratt have Indiana 11th in EPA per play on offense.
That spells trouble for a Bruins squad that doesn't have the offense to keep up - 78th in SP+ - especially against a Hoosiers pass rush led by Mikail Kamara.
If Indiana can win by four or more, a $10 bet pays a $10 profit.
