⬇️ Seth McGowan Under 58.5 rushing yards (-115) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

When I laid out my Kentucky vs. Georgia prediction, I noted my strong faith in Georgia’s defensive line. Georgia’s unit is well above the national average at all three levels: line yards, second-level yards, and open-field yards allowed per rush. That’s horrendous news for Kentucky’s starting running back, Seth McGowan, who isn’t all that efficient himself.

The Kentucky offensive line is inflating McGowan’s stats. While he is averaging 5.7 yards per carry, the Kentucky offensive line is currently generating 3.4 line yards. With the significant majority of McGowan’s production coming before contact, it’s tough to trust him against a defense that doesn’t give up much at the point of attack – or further downfield.

Fade McGowan by buying him to stay Under 58.5 rushing yards at Caesars for -115 (53.5%) to score an $8.70 profit on a $10 bet.

⬆️ Gunner Stockton Over 224.5 passing yards (-110) ⭐⭐⭐

Although Georgia’s massive advantage on the spread means the books don’t expect the Bulldogs to need to pass much, I still like quarterback Gunner Stockton to go Over 224.5 passing yards in a bounce-back home performance. Stockton was just limited to 130 passing yards versus Alabama but soared over this number against Tennessee (304) and cleared it against FCS Austin Peay (227).

The pick largely comes down to Kentucky’s defense, which does more to stop the run than the pass. The Wildcats rank 44th in yards allowed per rush attempt (3.8) but only 104th in yards allowed per pass attempt (8.2). The unit has struggled with allowing explosive passes, too. South Carolina’s Vandrevius Jacobs caught a 59-yard bomb against them just last week.

Although Stockton probably won’t need to do much for Georgia to win, a combination of a solid day versus a weak defense and a handful of explosives should get him Over 224.5. Buy this for -110 (52.4%) at Caesars to score a $9.09 profit on a $10 bet.

⬆️ Zachariah Branch Over 38.5 receiving yards (-115) ⭐⭐⭐

Wide receiver Zacharian Branch exploded against Tennessee for 69 receiving yards, cashing some tickets for us in the process, before getting held to just 35 yards on three receptions versus Alabama. While it’s not a favorable game script for passing, if anyone from the receiver room is going to tear off an explosive for the Bulldogs, it should be Branch – he tallied a catch for 20-plus yards in seven games with USC last year.

The Bulldogs featured Branch heavily in the wide receiver screen game against the Volunteers, and he simply refused to go down on first contact. Branch’s longest reception in that game went for 36 yards, so if he can do something similar on Saturday, he won’t need many more catches to clear this number.

With Branch averaging a monstrous 54 receiving yards per game thus far, give me his Over 38.5 for -115 (53.5%) at BetMGM.
