Kansas State’s 31-7 win over Arizona in the first meeting between these schools as Big 12 foes was one-sided from a touchdown-scoring perspective, but I expect the scoring to be much more evenly distributed in this rematch as I make my Kansas State vs. Arizona touchdown scorer predictions as part of our college football picks.

This line has jumped the fence with Kansas State now as the 1.5-point betting favorite with an O/U of 53.5 points, and I factor those odds into my college football predictions for Week 3.

Kickoff from Arizona Stadium in Tucson is set for Friday at 9 p.m. ET, airing on FOX.

💰 Best Kansas State vs. Arizona touchdown scorer bets

Here are my favorite Kansas State vs. Arizona touchdown scorer picks based on the best college football odds for Week 3.

🔥 Joe Jackson to score anytime touchdown (+100) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

With Dylan Edwards questionable to suit up for a third straight game after suffering an injury in Week 0, the Wildcats lead back duties would once again fall on Joe Jackson.

Despite having 12 more rushing attempts than the next closest teammate, Jackson has yet to find the end zone on the ground. He did show his versatility by cashing in one of his three receptions for a receiving touchdown. But someone who averages 10 rushes a game while leading the running back room in yards per carry (4.5) should eventually find more consistency in the rushing touchdown department.

I am sprinting to make this play at DraftKings at plus-money odds and a 50% implied probability before Jackson’s odds shorten considerably if Edwards is ruled out. If Jackson finds the end zone, my $10 winning wager would return the same $10 in profits.

🔥 Javin Whatley to score anytime touchdown (+175) ⭐⭐⭐

Kansas State has allowed seven rushing touchdowns to just four passing touchdowns this year. But that should not influence bettors’ touchdown scorer predictions for this game, as the Wildcats have played back-to-back opponents (North Dakota and Army) who have run-first identities.

Arizona wide receiver Javin Whatley’s 206 receiving yards are nearly triple that of the next closest teammate’s. He is already responsible for two of quarterback Noah Fifita’s six touchdown passes, and he should not have worse anytime touchdown odds than Arizona’s second running back, Kedrick Reescano, who has just 10 carries this year.

Whatley’s implied probability to score a touchdown is as high as 40% through his shortest +150 odds. Thus, we are getting a much better return at DraftKings, where a winning $10 wager at +175 odds would net $17.50 in profits.

🔥 Garrett Oakley to score anytime touchdown (+450) ⭐⭐

When Arizona faced a top-60 offense last year, it allowed just under 40 points per game. Kansas State’s offense has not played at a top-60 level just yet, but it should finish the year as such - and that has me taking a flier on a Wildcat who does not find the end zone often.

Garrett Oakley has more catches (eight) and yards (104) than the rest of Kansas State’s tight ends combined. The Wildcats should feature him in more one or two-tight end formations this week as the team’s second-leading wide receiver, Jerand Bradley, is expected to miss a couple of weeks with an injury he suffered against Army.

DraftKings offers ridiculous value on this wager compared to Oakley’s +220 odds (carrying a 31.25% implied probability) on the low end of the market. DraftKings’ +450 odds would return $45 in profits on a winning $10 bet.
