🏈 Delaware vs. Jacksonville State top prospects
Check out all of our best college football picks for this week's matchups.
Player | NFL draft grade |
---|---|
Cam Cook, RB, Jacksonville State | Late Day 3 |
Fintan Brose, OG, Delaware | UDFA |
Trevor Woods, S, Jacksonville State | UDFA |
KT Seay, S, Delaware | UDFA |
🐔 Delaware players to watch
Offense: Fintan Brose, OG
The best thing about Fintan Brose as a prospect is his ability to play multiple positions along the offensive line. Brose, who has played over 2,400 snaps in five seasons at Delaware, is first-team left guard tonight but has started games at center and right tackle as well. On the East-West Shrine Bowl radar, Brose's experience and versatility could get him into an NFL training camp.
Defense: KT Seay, S
A third-year starter for the Fightin' Blue Hens, KT Seay was one of the best defenders in the FCS last season before Delaware jumped to the Conference USA this season. Long and rangy at 6-foot-2, 190 pounds, Seay has allowed just a 61.1 NFL QB rating in coverage throughout his career. With another year of eligibility, Seay could be a candidate to transfer up to the Power Four.
🐓 Jacksonville State players to watch
Offense: Cam Cook, RB
There's a reason Cam Cook is the main focus of my college football player props today: the TCU transfer has been a breakout star for Jacksonville State. Cook leads the country in rushing yards (830) and forced missed tackles (58) thanks to his lateral explosiveness and burst. With another year of eligibility, Cook could return to school (or transfer back up) and be one of the top senior running backs in the 2027 NFL Draft.
Defense: Trevor Woods, S
One of the few players who survived the Karl Dorrell to Deion Sanders transition at Colorado, Trevor Woods was the third-leading tackler in Coach Prime's first season in Boulder (2023). After reduced playing time and a redshirt last season, Woods reunited with former Colorado defensive coordinator Charles Kelly at Jacksonville State. The safety has been the Gamecocks' quarterback on defense and best defender, allowing just a 56.8 NFL QB rating.
Another name to watch on Jacksonville State's defense is Emmanuel Oyebadejo, a 6-foot-7, 295-pound breakout defensive lineman.
