Alabama vs. South Carolina Player Prop Bets: Best Player Props & TD Picks for Week 9
Last Updated: October 25, 2025 10:46 AM EDT • 4 minute read X Social Google News Link
Two conference rivals headed in opposite directions meet up Saturday afternoon at Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia, S.C., and my Alabama vs. South Carolina player prop bets reflect that reality for this nationally televised SEC clash (3:30 p.m. ET, ABC).
Alabama, which has won six in a row since a season-opening upset loss at Florida State, ranges from an 11.5- to 12.5-point betting favorite against the Gamecocks, who have lost four of five. Among my college football picks for this matchup — which are part of a larger collection of college football predictions for Week 9 - I’m backing an Alabama running back to get in the end zone while calling for South Carolina’s quarterback to struggle throwing the ball.

⬇️ LaNorris Sellers player prop: Under 166.5 passing yards (-114) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
South Carolina’s LaNorris Sellers had a fabulous sophomore season in 2024, with 2,534 passing yards and 18 touchdowns. Suffice to say, Seller’s junior year hasn’t measured up. Remove a 302-yard, two-touchdown day at Missouri in Week 4, and he has just 708 yards and two TDs, with per-game yardage outputs of 209, 128, 94, 153 and 124 each of the last two weeks.
Sellers did amass 238 passing yards in last year’s narrow loss at Alabama. But this season, the Crimson Tide field the nation’s 10th-best pass defense. In fact, remarkably, Alabama has allowed exactly as many passing yards as rushing yards (1,082). The only QBs to clear 167 yards: Tennessee’s Joey Aguilar (238) and Vanderbilt’s Diego Pavia (198).
Tail this Alabama vs. South Carolina player prop at Caesars, where the -114 price equates to a 53.27% win probability. You’ll collect $8.77 on a winning $10 bet.

⬇️ Ty Simpson player prop: Under 1.5 passing TDs (+120) ⭐⭐⭐
Only eight FBS quarterbacks have thrown as many 18 touchdowns this season. Among that group, only two have multiple passing TDs in every game: Baylor’s Sawyer Robertson and Alabama’s Ty Simpson. In fact, Simpson has three-plus aerial scores in three of the Crimson Tide’s seven contests.
Ah, but all good things must come to an end, and I’m predicting just that for Simpson’s multiple-TD streak Saturday at South Carolina. The reason? The Gamecocks have allowed just seven scoring passes in seven games. Yes, LSU’s Garrett Nussmeier and Vanderbilt’s Diego Pavia each tossed two TDs against South Carolina. But I expect Alabama to lean heavily on its ground game against a defense that ranks 76th against the rush and 29th versus the pass.
BetMGM’s +120 odds on this Alabama vs. South Carolina player prop have an implied win probability of 45.45%. A successful $10 wager will pay $12.

🔥 Jam Miller to score a touchdown (-105) ⭐⭐
Despite being in concussion protocol leading up to last week’s game at Tennessee, Alabama running back Jam Miller was in uniform and did play — albeit sparingly. He had just 12 carries and 15 yards. But one of those carries resulted in a 1-yard touchdown run. It was the second score in three games for Miller, who sat out the first three weeks with a dislocated collarbone.
I expect Miller’s workload Saturday to compare with his two games against Vanderbilt (22 carries) and Missouri (20 carries). If that happens, the senior should rack up a bunch of yards and score at least once against a defense that has allowed 876 ground yards and seven rushing TDs in the last five games.
Bet this Alabama vs. South Carolina player prop at DraftKings, where the -105 odds imply a win probability of 51.22%. Risk $10 to win $9.52.
