Big news from some competition of our best sports betting sites.

Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) platform PrizePicks has unveiled its second annual "Super Sweat" competition, allowing fans to win $1 million and an all-expense-paid trip to an exclusive watch party for February's Super Bowl in New Orleans.

The "Super Sweat" competition is structured to select three winners who will be given a free 3-pick power lineup for the Big Game. Each lineup will be eligible for a $1 million prize, and the winners will be flown to an exclusive PrizePicks watch party in Texas, where they will watch the results of their selections unfold live.

Beyond the main event

PrizePicks is engaging its broader user base by offering a share of an additional $1 million in prizes to players who "tail" the lineups of the three finalists. These lineups will be revealed on the PrizePicks app and social media platforms on February 7.

The competition includes three challenges for participants to secure a spot in the "Super Sweat" event:

  • NFL Conference Championship Challenge: Participants must post a screenshot of their NFL Conference Championship lineup on social media platforms, including X (formerly Twitter), TikTok, or Instagram. Posts must include the hashtag #SuperSweat to be eligible, and this contest began on January 22.
  • Social Media Challenge: Participants are invited to share videos of their best touchdown celebration on one or more of the same social media platforms, again using the #SuperSweat tag. The winner of this challenge will also earn the chance to compete for $1 million on the Big Game.
  • Best Lineup of the Year Challenge: In this final challenge, participants must post a screenshot of their favorite NFL lineup from the past season on their social media accounts, including the required hashtag. This challenge offers another pathway to be selected for the "Super Sweat" grand prize.

PrizePicks continues expansion

PrizePicks has positioned itself as one of the bigger players within the DFS marketplace, offering a formidable alternative to DraftKings and FanDuel. Unlike traditional DFS platforms where contestants compete against each other, PrizePicks users create their own entries by predicting over/under outcomes for various player statistics.

Players can make predictions on various sports types, which makes the platform very attractive to all fans who follow different athletic leagues.

The company recently opened its new HQ in Atlanta. Governor Brian Kemp and First Lady Marty Kemp attended the ribbon cutting ceremony.

The platform is available in several US states that allow DFS, including California, Texas, Florida, and Georgia. PrizePicks also legally accepts users in Canada.

However, it's not available in states with more conservative gambling or DFS legislation, such as Nevada, Hawaii, Maryland, Montana, and Washington.
