With NFL minicamps concluding Thursday, here’s a recap of notable and entertaining storylines from the four AFC South Teams.
Matt Ryan in Control of Indy Offense
The 37-year-old quarterback is expected to continue working with his new wide receivers leading into training camp. He’ll also benefit from the luxury of handing off to the 2021 rushing leader, running back Jonathan Taylor.
Ryan’s in full command of the offense and currently trading at +4000 to win the Regular Season MVP Award at Caesars Sportsbook.
Darius Leonard Should be Ready for Training Camp

This season, a healthy Leonard will be vital to the Colts making noise in the AFC. The three-time All-Pro piles up triple-digit tackle totals annually, and his big-play ability has established him as one of the best defenders in the league.
Leonard is +5000 to win the AP NFL Defensive Player of the Year Award at FanDuel Sportsbooks.
Is Treylon Burks Already a Bust Candidate?

Rewind to late April, and pundits were billing Burks as a peak-Terrell Owens talent. Now, he’s resembling Charles Rogers. Does anyone even remember the second overall selection in the 2003 NFL Draft?
Burks hasn’t been able to consistently stay on the field to develop chemistry with starting quarterback Ryan Tannehill. Yet, the wide receiver is still listed at +700 to win the AP NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year at FanDuel.
How will James Robinson and Travis Etienne Complement One Another?

The running-back picture in Jacksonville will probably be cloudy until training camp, but if franchise quarterback Trevor Lawrence takes a step forward, the rushing attack could also surprise.
It’s likely the Jaguars will use a committee approach out of the backfield, and if Robinson and Etienne are both healthy, they could be a dangerous tandem.
However, it is an entirely different question whether they’ll be dangerous enough to punch a ticket to the postseason.
DraftKings Sportsbook has Jacksonville listed at -650 to miss the playoffs in 2022.
Is Brandin Cooks Set For a Huge Target Share Again?

It’s a thin wide receiver corps again in Houston, and Cooks has reached 1,000 receiving yards in six of his eight seasons in the league.
The fantasy community might be sleeping on his potential to crack the threshold again, and Cooks is a +7500 longshot to lead the NFL in receiving yards at FanDuel.
