turned it on again. aside from me having a wager on cibulkova, i think she deserves to win this match. she's played a better game for the vast majority of the match. that being said, we'll see if the nerves get to her again.

Both women actually held serve. Azarenka just broke on a Cibulkova double fault. Azarenka serving for the match at 6-5. Cibulkova is gonna be swinging for the fences now tho. She's dangerous.

Hey T, that was a decent play you made on Cibulkova. She had chances in second set it looked like to cash that! AND she took it all the way to 5-5 in the third. I was hoping you would of won that play when I read the last few hours of posts. I was hoping Aza would lose. But it wasn't like Cibul got blown out or anything. I hope u don't feel bad about that play. From what I read, looks like Cibul SHOULD of won this match! This is exactly why I stay away from ANY WTA matches most of the time. Can't trust the nerves of the women and the serving can be HERENDOUS at times. BOL to you sir in future plays!

Monfils blew my parlay today. What a loser. I am kind of pissed I took a guy who is SO overrated by the public. 4-4 in the third & he double faults twice in deuce??? Wow, freaking just gave the match away. Couldn't even beat Juan Monaco! And he's ranked inside the top 15??? How???

I thought about Monaco today. He's not a dolt on hard courts like some of the other South American clay courters ... I wouldn't feel comfortable backing Monfils until he proves his health and consistency. Some crazy winners today.

Thinking about taking Mayer on the ML tomorrow against Tsonga. Thoughts? Even though he beat a tired, worn-out Isner, he was making all sorts of shots against him; drop shots, slice backhands, cross court winners, you name it.

Monfils is number 1 clown and choker on circuit..always short odds and is risky..like berdych..mentally fragile monfils..showpony express..lair..u name it..your always a chance playing monfils if u hang in there against him as hes a choker bigtime

And Monfils was actually up 30-0 at 4-2 in the 3rd and still somehow managed to not win a single game the rest of the way. He always screws me and I never know why I take him.

The thing with Monfils is that he's only completely motivated during the majors, there is also the fact that he is used to not having, for several years in a row now, to defend a lot of points during this period so I think he just phones it in. Last year it was because he didn't have a great second part of the season that he got out of the top 8.

Florian Mayer is an absolute Black Hole. Guy gets hot like twice a year and sucks you into betting on him and then takes your money. We all know Tsonga is pretty lazy and will probably make the sets close - maybe even drop one, but I rarely trust Mayer to show a good game from match to match. I actually had a small play on Tsonga to Win the tournament at +2800. Figuring I can exit out on that against Nadal potentially in the quarters [if they both make it] although I had a weird feeling Tsonga was going to make the semis this week. Of course, I also thought Federer was going to win the whole thing.

Tuesday, March 27th

Parlay: Del Potro + Serena [-111]
Delpo gets Ferrer in what could be a dandy of a match. I think the surface does give Del Potro the edge though. Ferrer has grinded his way through a pair of tight, straight sets wins so far but been broken five times in those matches. His serve percentages are pretty average to below average and that won't fit the bill against Del Potro. Delpo is winning 80% plus on his 1st serve this week and has been broken just once with only two break opps offered up. Surely Ferrer will challenge that a bit more, but I think Del Potro is serving too well right now and playing well overall. Serena is in beast mode this week. 20 aces yesterday against Stosur and her 1st serve has just been dominating this week. Wozniacki has actually been winning pretty solid on her 1st serve this week, but as usual she is still leaving too many chances on her service games for her opponent. Woz's game just isn't conducive to consistent success against power players when their serves/ground strokes are working. She'll hope for some errors from Serena, but Serena looks focused this week and this is one of her best tournaments [23-2 record].
Li +135
Sharapova has been on double fault mode this week with 29 through three matches. She's been able to save a lot of break opportunities as well - 11/15 against Makarova, but she's playing with fire. Li did a nice job battling back against the big hitting Lisicki yesterday. After Sharapova dominated this series early, Li has won four straight on three different surfaces. Li's recipe for success against Sharapova is converting those break opps. In the four match win streak vs. Masha, she's converting around 55%. If she takes care of her own serve, that sort of number probably gets it done today.

I liked TI a lot when I first started capping tennis years ago. Now, it's more of a tool to see when matches start. Li +140 is niecccccccccccccccccccc. I wish there were exotic props I could bet for that match, I would take something like: total breaks of serves: over 13 (+100]

EP36, what do you think about Roddick/Monaco. I read Federer said Americans always plays their best on U.S. soil, and it certainly seemed that way when Roddick beat him. Think he's got a solid edge on Monaco, or is the price to high (-250 on 5D)?

Potential letdown for Roddick of course after beating Federer. Overall, I'd say he has too much power for Monaco, but with the way his last year or so has been - it's still kind of a guess whether or not Roddick sustains any momentum he gets. Could see using it in a parlay. No way I would play it as a single play at that high price of course.

I just need Tsonga and TIpy to win today and feel pretty good about it. Dimitrov should be a letdown this match because he just does not look like he's in good form. Tipy should be focused and win in straight sets. Tsonga should beat Mayer considering Mayer had a tired Isner who just wanted to go home.

Thanks Tevari, I just really feel like Dimitrov is up for a letdown. Tipy should win in straight sets in my opinion. I'm not a big fan of Dimitrov at all.

Dimitrov plays about the same way every match against bigger name players. One very tight set and then loses by at least one break in the 2nd set ... every once in a bit, maybe he stretches it to 3 sets.
