Rochus gets through round one. Took him and Sela for futures. Rochus the usual, wins in 3 to make it interesting. Dabul-Dimitrov about to start.

Nice winner man!So far good for favs, but wins are wins..Weird set up from Newport..Plenty of space to return balls..almost to infinity.Wonder if there is a rule on how far left or right from the baseline you could do it, due to both courts being next to each other. Technically you could dive to the right and hit a moon ball in front of the Ref and it would still be good.

I really love the courts being on top of each other, very unique. Dabul is cooked. Thought he'd at least keep Dimitrov close. Oh well. Futures are really what I am hoping to cash.

I also love the way they have the young kids bring out the bags that they can barely carry..
The P.A. Announcer is a bit annoying giving the personal bios of the players as they are warming up, she said brown is from Jamaica..
Would love to go there and pound some brews and take a walk around the hall of fame for a bit. Maybe we could organize an SBR tennis bash in the U.S. one day??

Ep, brown is just serving and volleying every point, playing right to the surface. I have a feeling that if he can get by this match he could very far here

I don't trust Brown to do anything correct for an entire match Beef. Match is pretty much as expected. Tie break and heading for another. Dabul pissed me off the most today. I did not expect him to beat Dimitrov, but two sets at 6-4 would have cashed the handicap except he played like a dunce in the opening set.

I've given up on him for grass courts this year. Played him as a dog a few times and he dropped both. I think Harrison showed enough at Wimbledon to think he should win. Harrison also got some nice experience here last year.

Better question is why would you put down 5K on anyone in a tournament like this?

Well Im asking for your opinion?I'm thinking that he maybe wants the cash and points?Thats the main reason I'm thinking. He played solidly lately and I'm not sure why he would just quit.I would appreciate your take on this. Also I think winning 5k in a day is a good day?And his odds are ok too.

I don't see anything from Sweeting that says today is going to be easy. He's got a poor grass court record and his two wins on the surface this season are not that impressive. I think Ebden has a bit better serve, while Sweeting's can go wonky at times. Think this is a pretty even match-up, so that's why I take the plus money price on the Aussie.

Thanks.I'll just bet 2 units then on him.I was thinking of pounding on this line but I"m not an expert in men's circuit. It doesnt help that havent watched Ebden's game too.Any line you think I can pound on the men's?

I don't think this tournament is conducive to making big bets. Too many questions on motivation here until you see a round or two.

Figures Clement finally shows up as a dog today when I avoid him. At least Ebden is going to get things off on the good foot today it appears. Hope my faith in Haas pays off next.

Ep, the way this tourney goes haywire, I think sprinkling a tad on 4 futures on Wang/Roger V and Ebden/Bachinger.One upset of dimitrov or isner and there is a more than a puncher chance of one of them getting to the semis or hell finals for that matter, then a hedge..

Clement played like shit. Harisson obviously bets on his own games.. Isner - Clement an EASY 2-0.

So much for the Sela future. Haas wins a craptacular match, I'll take it and I am sure he will too.

Man rochus is pain in the ass little fukker to watch. No serve to speak of. Slices the ball to the far nether regions of the court, gets lucky bounces of the net. If he were to play Isner i actually would consider playing him because Isner is just like Mahut, except bigger..

Draw could not have broken better for Rochus. I will be pissed if he isn't in the final giving me a hedge opportunity. I don't plan on hedging the +1500 before then. Ebden is lucky he's still playing as anyone with half a testicle would have beaten him today, up a set and 3-0. FU Bachinger and then Yani or Kudla does not strike any fear into me against Rochus. He'll probably make it tough on himself, but he should be right in there in the end. I had a weird feeling that Vasselin was going to be in the finals here is Isner falters.

I guess Bogomolov +3.5 is money. Isner would not mind winning, but does not want to make an effort.
Isner knocked out Bogomolov in later stages in Miami, so I see Bogomolov more hungry for a revenge.
EP, what are your thoghts?

Only problem I have is Bogomolov plays a lot of lopsided sets. Sure, Isner is lazy and may just let him serve him until a tie break as per usual - but Bogomolov's serve isn't overpowering, so if it's not working well, even Isner can break him. Not too interested in that one. I'm going with this, just a gut play because I had him going to the semis when the draw came out.

You are probably right EP.
But after watching this video I will give it a shot. Bogomolov looks like in high spirits, he has newborn baby and seems has found new energy to fight.

You've got to be fukking kidding me with this lopsided bullshit again. Vasselin dominates a set and then gets dominated. Smells just like yesterday.
