Looks like I made the right choice having a nap instead of paying attention to the Mattek-Sands match. Would've been a bit of a crazy one but I hope at least someone who looks at my thread made some cash live betting her.

Didn't make near as many plays as I usually do on the 1st day but I didn't really like a lot so I'll take my little 2-0 with a smile. Hope everyone made some great money today

Thanks Mirar. A friend told me last week I'm like a little turtle when it comes to betting. I just move along slowly, never chasing or laying crazy chalk, and even if I end up in a ditch one day it doesn't hurt that badly because I don't go crazy with my units. I just keep plodding along doing my own thing and it seems to work out ok. Not as fancy as others maybe but it suits me just fine.

For people who only tail randomly though it's a crap shoot and I don't recommend they do that with anyone. But I've given up preaching about that since there's nothing I can do about it. Hope you have a great day!

I think that's the best way to do it. I have done the same thing with NHL hockey all season long and am up 70 units in 450 plays. playing mostly 1 unit a game every time and almost only dogs. It's definitely the best way to bet imo.

I also lost on Flavia today. No reason she should have lost that matchup as clearly the superior player in the matchup. The same goes for Yanini Wickmayer losing in 2 straight sets to Makarova. These were 2 games where the favorites clearly should have won

Pennetta also cost me. I shouldn't have taken her though. She has been struggling and it was her first clay match. It was her first match in 6 weeks and her 4th in the last 10 weeks.

Pennetta clearly is the superior player and should have won that match but being that it was her first match in 6 weeks as well as her first clay match, its understandable. What I did not like though was Yanina Wickmayer losing in straight sets to Makarova. There was absolutely no reason Wickmayer should have lost that matchup, let alone 2 straight sets. Everything pointed to her winnning, even her dominance on clay compared to Makarova's struggling on clay.. she's barely over 50 % for her career on clay matchups. This is the kinda game that fuks people up on parlays though

Are you sure you looked at the right spreadsheet? 161-150-8 51.77% +52 units.

Even if there were more losses, there'd be nothing wrong with that. I'm not a pro and don't claim to be.

Yeah that's me. I quite like Falla here but he seems to be the trendy picky for today so I'll probably stay away. Those never seem to do too well, at least when I've been involved with them

Although I agree with this for the most part, I think I am 3-0 tailing your picks so far. As you can see I dont tail every pick you make, but after doing some research of my own, I do look at your picks and see which picks we are on the same page with. But hey, if I see youre having a good day,why not tail on one. Its not going to break my bankroll if I lose.

I took Cippola today, although I got him at +4.5 games not 5. I did go out on my own and took Llogestera Vives at +5 games against Safina. So far it looks good as long as she doesn't get bombed in the third set.

Yeah, another good day Shari! I already had Cippola +4.5 and some on the ML so was good to see you on it too... Can't believe he held on for the win!

Watched the last two sets - Cipolla really doesn't have much of a offensive game, and just seemed to get the ball back into play. Roddick seemed to just beat himself...

Well I decided to go along for the ride on koscheck's favorite BSD. Got Raonic at +110. Hoping if he's not fit, he retires before two sets are done. Fading Lopez after travel and a final seems like a decent angle to go against after looking everything over. BSD in the house.

Nothing on Raonic's back so far. I'm thinking if it bothers him in the match, he'll retire again, or I hope so anyway. Just have a feeling Lopez's bubble is about to burst soon - he's not the type of player to sustain a run like this and if Milos is 100%, he's strong enough on the surface to put an end to it. I hope

That Davydenko crapped out today hopefully is a good omen on Lopez also faltering. Thought about Granollers for a while ... should have taken a stab. I would not have touched de Bakker before this tournament, but he seems to have finally found some footing and even though Ferrero is far from 100% ... beating him is good for his confidence. GGL has been a shaky bastard for months. GL on that one, probably will ride de Bakker as well.
