Simon to me as I stated a few posts back is the type of guy who can frustrate Kohlschreiber with his style of play. It's not pretty. Simon simply wants to hammer the ball at the back of the baseline, engage his opponent in rallies and force his opponent to make mistakes. However while not fun to watch necessarily, it can be effective. Kohlschreiber to me has a very hot and cold game. Plenty of evidence to back that up with the uneven sets he's played in matches this summer on this surface. Simon may not have a ton of wins under his belt this summer, but he played well against Youzhny and Fish on this surface, losing in tight sets. The big thing for Simon for me is that his 1st serve MUST get in at 60% or better. He does not have an overpowering serve as Kohlschreiber can have at times, so he needs to reduce the amount of 2nd serves Kohlschreiber will see. This is likely to be a long match, but it's also a chance for Simon to make amends at the tournament that claimed him to injury last year with a knee issue. It was bad luck too because Simon was even with Ferrero at a set before the injury slowed him in a third set tie break. His season has been very sluggish to this point, but he seems to be playing some of his best tennis recently and might be in his best shape in some time. Think he needs to start quick.

I like Simon as well in this match, his speed should frustrate Kohly and draw out his inconsistencies, but when he is consistent, he can easily beat Simon who is more of a defender than anything else. I heard Simon's wife just had their child a few days ago too, hopefully he is completely focused here.

There is 1 huge opportunity on the men's side tomorrow that probably won't be more than -135.

Just bad serving I think. I haven't watched any of this, just scoreboard. From the stats, pretty simple .. whomever gets their 1st serve in more is winning the set. Break & consolidate Simon. 3-0 in the 4th. Looks like we get 5.

Simon is only a tactician he can't do anything else. Kohly is so inconsistent, will finish a set in 20 minutes with 20 winners than hit 20 UE in the next set. I have Simon to finish off a parlay I hope he comes through for us.
