What are your thoughts on Ljubicic/Nalbandian tonight? Ljubo owns him 5-2 H2H all on hard surface, yet Nalbo is favored at -320?

Any thoughts would b much appreciated homeslice.

At least my SBR bet got voided, unfortunately lost a little real coin on it. Was not digging anything about that match. Nalbandian should beat him, but fatigue is an issue after the last two weeks. Whatever the result in this one, I would not be surprised although it would be quite amazing for Ljubicic at this stage to win a 1st-up type of match.

Going to get focused for tomorrow. Humpday is bounce back day.

WEDNESDAY PARLAY: DJOKOVIC + WAWRINKA [-122]
Djokovic opens his Cincinnati experience against Troicki. Troicki fought off Stepanek in his opener here with a solid serve that was never broken. His main problem is consistency though as last week showed when he beat Cilic and then fell going away to Kohlschreiber in 3 [6-0 in the 3rd set]. Djokovic had a nice run in Toronto and showed some fight against Federer when it looked like he'd roll over easy in straights. Djokovic has made the finals here two years running and the weather looks like it should be conducive to a solid start for him. Wawrinka draws Benneteau. The Swiss ousted Almagro easily in his opener while Benneteau beat Llodra in what appeared to be a fix-it-up special. The Frenchman is 2-2 in the US Open hard court series swing with wins over Istomin and Llodra, losses to Djokovic and Malisse. Both guys have had average seasons on outdoor hard courts, but in looking over their bodies of work on the surface this year - Wawrinka appears more consistent and capable.

QUERREY-FERRER OVER 23.5 [-125]
A vote for the over here is obviously most likely a vote for a 3 set match today although there is potential for this to be done in two sets with the style that Querrey plays. Querrey had little problems with Petzschner in his opener, whipping his serve in and dominating on 1st serve. The 2nd serve is something that can be picked on and someone with the return-defensive skills of David Ferrer will do so. You can look back to Querrey's results this Summer on hard courts and see the swings from set to set. Of his 8 matches on hard courts from July-Present, six have gone three sets. Ferrer did the necessary job against Dolgopolov in his opener here, ending in 3 sets. Ferrer was competent on serve and if he can get 66% in on 1st serves again, that will help him hold deeper into sets. With Querrey's concentration lapses/frustration moments and Ferrer's ability to break opponents, this one looks like it should be an entertaining affair that could go 3 sets.

I may not make another pick this week if this loses, seriously. Not that it is particularly the best pick in existence or anything, but just that if I lose another - it should be a sure sign that I need to stop this week and just let the futures play out.

FISH -140
I wasn't particularly pleased about Fish's game plan with Simon yesterday, but he won. He seemed fine with allowing himself into rallies with the guy who likes to rally and let you beat yourself. Well, Fish did not, so that's a plus. He draws Verdasco who is as up & down as they come these days. His form during the US Open hard court series has been just that. Verdasco's double faults have crept up again, while Fish for the most part has been a solid server. If you need something to fade, here ya go.

Dementieva has not been great in the summer hard court session. Zakopalova has a match in-hand on this surface and the Russian has traditionally played better at this Canadian event when it is in Toronto, not Montreal. This just stood out to me, so WTF. Fade away.
