de Bakker's serve hasn't been as good as I was expecting today. If it goes 3, I'm not gonna feel real comfortable and that's what it looks like after he just bot broke.

Hey EP, I have a question if you don't mind. I have a round robin parlay going with Querrey, De Bakker, and Ferrer. Should I put my money on Dolgopolov to hedge to guarantee profit? Or Should I let the parlay ride it out? What are your thoughts on the match between Ferrer vs Dologopolov? Thanks, EP.

Might not be bad to hedge. That match is difficult to predict. I didn't expect Dolgopolov to do well last week. Ferrer will trouble him I think if he fails to get in his 1st serve, but Dolgpolov's serve on a fast court looks like it can work well. I think Ferrer will win, but it might be close.

de Bakker won although had to go 3.

Thanks for the opinions, EP. Went to the book and apparently it's too late to hedge. They took out the line already. Sigh...

I love Dolgo's game but I am not touching ANY of his matches in these tourneys. He has already proven to be a fixer, as I watched both his first two wins in the last round- but losing both first sets 6-1- and it was obvious he was fixing only for the first set.

              good luck.

Well Razzano gave it a ride, but Schnyder's serve was too good today. Meh. Looks like Dologpolov is taking the opening set. Ferrer better shape up and get a set for the over.

Fawwwk. Ferrer already broken in the 2nd. Looks like I'll be lucky to hit the parlay if Wickmayer wins tonight and go with one win out of five. Love starting the week in a hole.

Whew! Ferrer has reeled off three straight games now. Serving at 3-1. Might have a chance yet.

Cheer for me EP. I need Ferrer to come back to hit my round robin parlay. I was gonna hedge it but my book took the lines out already when I went for it.

Will do. 3rd set is going to be interesting. Dolgopolov doesn't appear to be having the kind of success he had with his serve last week, hopefully Ferrer breaks him early again and can get a comfortable lead to close it out.

                                RODDICK-STAKHOVSKY UNDER 21.5 [-118]
'Tis a tad risky here as Roddick's fitness is not fully known other than he had mono and has been treated for it. Roddick has said his doctors believe the mono has passed, so it's really a matter of fitness and training now. Mentally, this diagnosis may do wonders for Roddick who says the mono had been afflicting him for a couple months. If at near 100%, he should crush Stakhovsky. He did in Miami in straights this Spring and last week, Stakhovsky beat Gasquet who was not 100% and then got destroyed by Berdych in straights. I'm looking for Roddick to make a statement this week and this number would probably be 20 or less if Roddick had been healthy this Summer.

Well boned on that under - thought maybe Stakhovsky would fold in the 2nd after Roddick got the 6-4 win in the 1st. At least the parlay cashed.

TUESDAY PARLAY: KOHLSCHREIBER + FISH [+100]
Kohlschreiber should be in Cincy this week with loads of confidence after a nice run in Toronto last week that included a 3 set loss to Nadal. His serve was popping and that needs to be the case again here. He definitely needs to get that first serve in for his best chances at success. He draws Zeballos whom he has beaten on Zeballos' better surface of clay and on hard courts at the Australian Open in straight sets. Zeballos will fight hard on this surface, but if Kohlschreiber can repeat something close to last week's form, he should move on. Fish draws Simon. Fish took the Toronto tournament off after losing in 3 sets to Cilic. He may have needed the rest. His form was solid early in the summer in Atlanta but an ankle injury and fatigue have slowed him since. Simon has been okay in the US Open hard court series with two wins and two losses. The win over Roddick is very much tempered due to Roddick's bout with mono, so Simon still has yet to impress. He lost to Youzhny last week in Toronto where the Russian was not playing well and wound up losing to Dolgopolov the next round. The feeling for me here is that if Fish is 100% and playing close to his best, he's too good for Simon right now.

CHALLENGER PARLAY: RIBA + FARAH [+107]
Riba draws Jorge Aguilar who retired down 0-4 and trailing a set last week at the Trani Cup Challenger. For the year, Aguilar has been mostly forgetful on the surface with a 9-15 record on dirt in main draws at both the Challenger and ATP level. Riba meanwhile has been in decent form on dirt since July, going 7-5 in main draw play. He's won two clay Challengers this year and is the better talent of the two. Farah has looked good on hard courts in Brazil the last two weeks with a semifinal and quarterfinal appearance. He draws Julio Silva who has played more on clay than any other surface this year and not shown very well. So long as Farah is not fatigued, he should have a chance to continue his solid form of late.

Tough call. Ljubicic hasn't played on hard courts, so you'd think Nalbandian gets an edge there but there's still a possibility that even with a few days rest that Nalbandian might a little burned out from a heavy schedule. If you're desperate for a 3rd person for a parlay, Baghdatis might be a better guy to turn in there. Bellucci just has not proven to have the consistency generally to beat good players on hard courts. Of course there's never anything 100% accurate about predicting who will win from day to day, but I liked Baghdatis as a dangerous floater type in his portion of the draw. We'll see if that pans out.

Baghdatis draws Bellucci today and the quick conditions in Cincinnati should favor the Cypriot. Baghdatis was able to get by Cilic in his opener, but will need to improve his 1st serves greatly today. He only got in 39% against Cilic, but still did a good job on serve and saved 6/7 break opps. His run in Washington showed that Baghdatis might be a dark horse heading into the US Open if he gets that serve in consistently. Bellucci is a good player, but consistency on hard courts is his problem. He hasn't shown yet that he can keep it together against the better players. I like Baghdatis to move on today. Monfils draws Falla and I think the athleticism of Monfils can be the difference today. Monfils as always needs to serve well here to keep himself in matches early. Falla has the advantage of playing qualis here, but Monfils has been on this surface at this event before. The Frenchman looked decent in Toronto last week before running into the Murray buzzsaw. Falla may stick with him early, but Monfils can pull away late I believe.
